Yea it’s been canon for ages that he likes grapes. As the comment above me said, the instruction booklet said he likes grapes and at the end of the 2nd movie Knuckles wanted some grapes on ice cream.
I feel like it’s a reference towards how he’s the king of the island with the master emerald, since in Egyptian times I believe grapes were seen as a food of royalty

I just wanna say that I love the canines you gave everyone (except Eggman and Knuckles, but Knuckles was already rocking the shark teeth). I actually kinda miss the fangs Sonic had from SA1 and having them on Tails makes him even cuter.

I gotta agree with shadow that tirmasu is one of the best desserts ever ^^ as well as ice cream sundaes. Nothing beats cotton candy grapes, they're my favourite fruit too. Nothing also beats an _eggxcellent_ chocolate egg and strawberry shortcake is tasty. Sooo I agree with about everything on this show 😂

Tails I should have guessed considering that a previous take over he had a comedic amount of mints.
Eggman likes chocolate eggs? I mean, ok, but does that mean Easter is canonical to the Sonic universe? Or does he make them with chocolate molds? I'm going to end this rabbit hole because I don't want to go too far and wonder if he dips eggs in chocolate.
Sonic likes ice cream sundaes? I guess that's why he got one at the start of Sonic Unleashed (I mean that WAS a pretty excessive ice cream cone). That's interesting, is this cannon? Because that would be cool if he wasn't just eating chili dogs whenever food comes up.
Tiramisu and coffee for Shadow. I can see that, I guess the edgy hedgy would like coffee in the dark. Tiramisu is good too. Has he stated coffee preferences? It would be funny if someone thought he would like it black, but goes on and talks about creamers, sugars, and other things to add.
Knuckles likes grapes, this is cannon not surprised. What I AM surprised was that he mentioned a specific type of grape, the cotton candy flavored ones. I've had those and yeah, they are good. I wonder if he'd try scuppernongs or muscadine grapes? Muscadine cider is so good, tried it as a slushy, it was amazing.
Amy likes strawberry shortcake, understandable. I've seen some amazing strawberry shortcakes in Kirby and other Japanese media, they look amazing. I guess Sonic was just being a troll there.
