I cannot believe that this incredible song is out here. I am speechless and I get goose bumps listening to it. This is exactly what I need. I haven't been feeling so well lately, it is indeed hard for every one of us to live in this modern society. The stress that comes along often takes too much of us. Also to me. To point this out as a singer with a beautiful but also painful song is the most valuable thing you could have done. And you did it, together. I need my friends and family now more than ever. As someone with a partner struggling with mental health issues, this song really hit the chord for both of us profoundly and personally. Thank you for this touching song that, if you don't mind, we´ll keep as a small, beautiful portrayal of our relationship
Both of JP and Gabrielle show so much emotions in this MV, the emotions when you feel when losing someone; suffering, sad, everything-is-not-right, and other negative emotions of losing someone.. Although Gabrielle is dancing, the moves show sad movement and look forceful, like she is masking it(just like how we deal with sadness by masking it to survive).. At last, it shows how instead both of you stuck in darkness, suffocate, both you try to reach and try to get each other because you can't stand lose someone again.. I have short attention span, I can't watch something more than 10 minutes.. MV and music, both are helpful to help me have some entertainment.. although it is short, your MV and voice give me so much to feel and experience.. Love you Gabrielle xo

However, I am all for people discovering who they are truly meant to be and how they wish to express themselves. Whilst her music has changed, my taste has not and I'm afraid I cannot help that. The power this song and video holds is insane. We are all alowed to be sad, hurt, flawed, and insecure. Nothing in this world says that being any of those things is wrong or makes us "broken". The best thing for those of us who feel these things much more strongly than others, is knowing that there is someone always there for us through the best and the worst. This song and video shows that a little goes a long way and you often need the other person just as much. My favorite line is the beginning of the chorus: "take a breath love, fill your lungs up."

I loved Gabrielle Aplin before and wasn’t sure of this musician singing but then put two and two together I believe he sang Soldiers both of these songs remind me of my ex boyfriend. Every single lyric in this song and in Soldiers reminds me of me and him. But this song I can’t stop listening to we both struggle with addiction he’s been the only one there for me through my mental health struggles when everyone has left and I’m really struggling right now and he is to and every lyric and this whole video reminds me of us it’s heartbreaking.

The music video kinda showed what it feels like to be trapped inside your head. I mean it humanizes people like us who are struggling with mental health. And the lyrics made me feel that i’m not alone and some people understand what it feels like that at the end of the day we’re all just fragile humans trying to find love and peace within ourselves. That despite these struggles we are beautiful.
