Barry, it's worth saying that there are ZERO original Bob Ross paintings available for sale, especially NOT the ones from the show. Man did 3 versions of the paintings from the show, a pre-show painting, one done on camera, and one done afterwards. The first two versions are safely stored by his official business, and one version was given to one of his first students, a woman who never gave a single away. Any Bob Ross painting sold is very likely to be a knock-off.
I am from Indiana. I saw Bob Ross in Muncie, Indiana when I was a child. In college I passed his studio as I walked to class on some days. This was at Ball State University. Little trivia... the family that established Ball State University are the same people who created the Ball jar.

"Bob Ross wears a shirt" is the funniest unintentional Captain Obvious line I've heard in a while. Lmao (And yes, I gathered that "Shirt" must be a britishism for what we call a "button-down" over here in 'Murica)
Just want to point out that nowadays a lot more american products have support for 110-240v 50-60hz products so in some cases You will not need a step down converter You can just use one of those standard travel adapters, just depends on the product.
So the reason your toast gets progressively lighter the more you use a toaster is due to the auto release thermocouple. The more you use the toaster, the more heat it retains and the less time it takes to reheat to the ‘pop up’ temp. If you blow in the top, it will flush out some of the hot air and help it cool down.
My favourite Bob Ross quote: "Talent is a pursued interest. In other words, anything that you're willing to practice, you can do." Probably kind of relevant to your career in the kitchen, actually. 😁

He was a really good artist and his techniques are helpful and his son is still an artist and he paints similarly

They now make programmable toasters that burn in images either from a built-in menu or some allow you to put in images of your own. Google "programmable image toaster".
My mind went strait to Colin Furze as a colab for making a Barry Lewis toaster. Although that would probably involve a jet engine, a couple of flame throwers and the deathstar from star wars knowing Colin and more than likely bad news for Barry's new kitchen.
So I was laughing super hard when I clicked on this video and the I saw Mr. Bean with a mustache in the background and lost, long story short I need new lungs.
I have no idea if my comment was part of the decision to get this exact model of step down converter but I just posted it as an example of one of the many step down converters on Amazon that are perfectly fine... It's not exactly rocket science to build a step down converter... I'm a physics student that had rocket science in his first semester of university, so trust me, I know what I'm talking about here. You can even pretty easily built one yourself or reverse the principal and built a step up converter that converts your DC 12V car socket into a full blow 110/240V outlet, even with AC power. It's really nothing special.
Thanks for the video Barry but that toaster is the worst, cheapest piece of junk I've ever seen. I hope it end's up in a bin sooner rather than later. What a terrible memory for poor old Bob. LOL!
