- In today's video a Grand Wagoneer shuts down on the highway then locks itself into park. A Massive safety concern. TSB are now being sent out over the wiring harness.
The wiring harness was made shorter due to decisions by Carlos Tavares to constantly cut cost no matter what it meant for safety or quality.
Let's discuss this disaster in the comments - Auta a dopravní prostředky
bro can't even take a shower without stellantis fucking up
Legend. TK is giving us the rub on these fools so maybe they can get there mess together. We gave Chrysler a bailout we deserve nothing but the best instead of crap
👌😂
Stellantis is " not aware of a problem". We will have owned our brand new 2024 Jeep GC 60 days on July 2nd. We only actually had it & have driven it 5 of those days. The balance of those days have been spent being serviced at the dealership for major, electrical safety issues (3 times, same problem cluster, electrical, and yes, turned off while driving!)). The last time it was deemed safe to drive, we had it for 11 minutes before returning it to the dealer again.
At least you were clean before doing the video 😂
Lol 🤣
We didn't need to see that! 😂😂😂
Them new Jeep Wagoneer's are the biggest peace of junk !! And them new TT Hurricane 6CYI engines are getting worse and blowing up !! 😫😫😫🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎👎
I've been a specialist on automotive electrical and electronics for years. Not counting having a what back then was A & P ticket including turbine. So when i say you must have extra wire in the loom for movement. Granted the movement must be controlled as not to have other major issues. A wiring harness that has no extra wire for movement is much more dangerous than one with to much wire. More and more manufacturers are cutting cost by shortening the harness. Thats fine as long as they leave room for movement and enough for repair. If they removed to much wire it's much more dangerous than people know. It should be a crime to do that.
Yeah I noticed that on my 2012 wrangler I bought last year. I built aircraft wire harnesses for a government contractor after A&P school back around 2013. I also noticed the wires that are routed in between the intake and motor. Did the dreaded oil cooler housing and had the plastic covers disintegrating as I touched it . Had to vacuum the tiny pieces off of the motor before pulling the lower intake. I wondered how long the wires were going to last surrounded by so much heat and no up graded shielding or wrap around it. I will have to go back in to add a heat reflective cover over them before I start getting shorts. Can't imagine these newer vehicles issues this early on and what will happen down the road
I just had a brand new Jeep compass rental. The car slammed on the brakes going 70mph on the highway for no reason. Luckily the was no one around me and I managed to get it going again. I never used cruise again. The tech doesn’t work and should be stopped.
Not with the currant DOJ.
I spent last winter driving cars around an auto auction lot 5 days a week. Many times we had to operate vehicles with low battery issues. Now, any time a vehicle is operating at low battery, you expect that not every vehicle function is going to work. However, most vehicle brands have a fairly predictable way of handling this issue. But not Stellantis. Operation of just about any Stellantis vehicle during low battery was a wild, unpredictable, and potentially hazardous undertaking. Bad design.
Lawsuits incoming
Where’s the quality control?
Hidden behind the bean counter in accounting.
Long gone
They were all fired apparently
One of the lawsuits is mine. It's about the Grand Cherokee video thumbnail. The vehicle went up in flames due to faulty wiring. I'm still beingbtreated for signifant smoke inhalation.
I hope you’re in Michigan. If you can get them to lemon law, then you’ll get your attorney cost paid.
Yeah and charge them with wiring fraud also.😂😂
😂😂😂good one
A huge issue when you're dealing with plastic coated wire. They're extremely sensitive to temperature they will expand and high heat they will contract when it gets cold. And they will contract (shrinkage) severely with age. I think we're going to see a huge huge issue this winter and every winter to follow.
I have a 2023 Mitsubishi mirage. I know you would call it a food stamp car but it is a year and a half old with 18,000 mi on it and it has had zero problems and gets about 50 mi to a gallon so who's better off
Great! I got rid of my Versa last year with 130,000mi Had the CVT oil changed once and put a new battery in it.
I am so glad I unloaded my Jeep in '23.
WOW. WHAT A INTRO. LMAO. It's sad and. Sick as Hell. Hopefully no one gets killed with this junk. !!!
With approx 43 billion, the impression given is "untouchable"
As a Canadian, I couldn't see myself driving this SUV on a cold ass day and having it stranded leaving me to die in the cold 💀😬
TK'S Garage Friend keep up the great work 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪💪👍👍👍👍
Wasn't it the same type car that killed the Star Trek actor "Checoff"?
No. He had the prior WK2 model, SRT w/ electronic shifter- before they returned the shifter back to manual.
My WK2 shifts consistently either manually or by paddles -knock on wood.
Yes, I had to look it up, but it was a jeep grand Cherokee, poor guy, he was young and about to be a star.
Nah, like we saw on the vw dieslegate or the gm ignition switch, the higher ups will be ok and an engineer scapegoat will go to jail
Dodge/Stellantis is getting worse and worse with there Quality now !!! 😫😫😫👎👎👎👎
Meanwhile JD Power in their latest 90 Initial Quality Study ranked RAM highest in light trucks!
How or why would you dare skimp on (on production) this so called luxury Wagonier of theirs?
Smh, what a mess they created for themselves and the brand!
Wow just wow…
There's needs a class action lawsuit gor all the problems and company refuse to repair
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 TK takes it up to another level 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ❤❤❤ I love this dude ❤❤❤
Cost cutting? That Wagneer cost that poor family probably 6 figs plus interest just to nearly be the death of them..this is beyond malpractice and needs to be investigated
The lease Grand Cherokee we using driving yesterday it showed service transfer case 😕
I think my next vehicle will be an original platform Ranger from the 90s or 2000s. All these new cars are scaring me.
100k crappola. So much junk being built, yet prices continue to go up.
So what you're trying to say is that my 98 XJ 4.0 with 250k miles is probably gonna outlive the new Wagoneer?!
That's really scary
The Sad Saga continues!
Stellantis has to be shut down immediately!! This is NOT acceptable at all specially for the prices these pieces of junk costs
Class action suit?
Stellantis will be in National Lawsuits
All the brands under Stellantis need to band together against them and their Doofenschmuck of a CEO. They're ruining everything!!
0:00 is this a bad time to talk about stellantis?
Well, now I know not to go for a wagoneer!
Stellantis won't give you a break from their own ignorance and stupidity. I'm referring to the leadership overseas
Tavares is probably watching TK's channel now contemplating his next scapegoat to blame. Everyone besides his $39 million pay bonus self. He said she said. This dude knows exactly wat he is doing to the American market. Watch out for tavares troll farm TK
Hilarious
Naaa not totally buying this story….anything is possible but …. Park…….really, I can’t imagine that but then I would NEVER buy a Jeep, I’d rather walk.😃🤔😃
JEEP Just Empty Every Pocket
I think if I want something that big for a family I'll turn around and buy a Suburban with a V8. Stellantis is just as bad as Toyota over priced crap.
It is clear that a purchase of a CDJR product is the first step to a life of insanity.
Tk......🤦..... You gotta grow out of this riff Raff Dodge phase...... And get you a stingray Corvette.
