The banks do not inflate the value of the dollar. They even lose when it happens.
We are import dependent and we change our money to import.
The foreign banks and businesses repatriate their earnings and they do so by changing their money into dollars. There is always pressure.
These presenters are doing a job but it is true that they change the rates.
