We really like the CQ18T- Thanks for a great portable mixer!! A question for you: Is there a way to prevent Scenes from auto-advancing to the next scene?
If we load a scene and later return to the Scene menu we see it has already highlighted the next scene (anticipating that we want to recall it). During rehearsal, we want to make refinements to the same scene and it's annoying to constantly select the same scene- pulling the CQ back from where it had auto-advanced to (especially if the scene that it jumped to is after many unused scene slots- for example, rehearsal is using scene 10, but we store critical back-up scenes from 95 -100, and CQ automatically jumps from 10 to 95 after we load scene 10. Thanks, Joe

And yet you can't see anywhere which scene you're currently on.

Hi, I recently bought a CQ18 and i think its the best mixer I've ever had. I use the mixer for several bands and have therefore created different scenes. I then realised that the stereo link settings were not being saved in the scene and initially thought it was a software bug. Now I came across this video where my suspicions were disproved. Why is this the case? I find it a bit annoying when you have to reconfigure the stereo links every time you change scenes.

      Hi @christoph3676,
Great to hear that you're loving your new CQ :)
The reason that stereo linking is not recalled scene-by-scene is that it's a fundamental/foundational change in the core which everything else is built on top of. Although this config change happens very quickly, there is a slight interruption to audio, which is unacceptable in many situations where scenes are used.
The reason it IS recalled with Shows, is that shows are designed to be recalled per-show/setup. So with your example of different bands, you would have a show stored for each band setup on a connected USB drive, then you could have scenes within that 'setup' for different songs or venues.
      Thanks, Keith.

Thanks for the video! I have 2 questions:
1: Is there a way to see what scene is currently in use?
2: Am I correct in assuming, that every change a band member makes on their respective CQ4you app needs to be saved in the main mixing app in that specific scene we are currently in? And am I also correct in assuming, that every time my phone/tablet/laptop loses wifi connection to the mixer and has to reconnect, every change that was made in the current scene, either via the main mixing app OR the individual CQ4you apps, is reset and needs to be redone?
    Thank you!

Any changes made on the peripheral apps will update the Mixer and Mixpad app in real-time. If you then get to a point where the setting need to be saved, say, post sound check then saving the scene will always save the mixer’s current state.
Again, as the changes are happening in real time, if the connection is lost there should be no need to action the app configuration again. All apps will recall from the mixer’s current state, which is never lost. Even when the mixer is powered down the current state is always held.
And finally, I’m afraid that the current scene is not displayed.
      Thanks,
      Luke

How do you copy a scene to a show? how do you copy a scene to a USB stick?

A show file contains the current 100 scenes that are loaded on the mixer's memory. Shows are saved onto a formatted USB key under Home>Data.
      Thanks,
      Luke
