  • The BMW N63 rear cover is a metal plate that covers the rear of the BMW N63 V8 engine. It helps to seal the engine and prevent oil leaks. Overtime, the original sealing gasket becomes brittle and does not seal, causing leaks between the engine and transmission bell housing. This repair can be very expensive and is usually misdiagnosed for a rear main seal. The AGA Updated N63 Rear Cover is an inexpensive alternative, made of 6061 billet aluminum. This kit includes the rear cover, viton o-ring, alcohol wipe, scotch-brite pad and o-ring grease.

What BWM doesnt have massive oil leaks. Like they want it to just to give you more reasons to visit the Service Dept. Always great to see AGA one step ahead of BMWs engineers

The S63 block is different, just slightly in oiling paths. Not arguing, just ignorant to say they are the same.

@@jaredhuber7359The saying *same shit, different pile* means you have two different piles of shit, but it’s all shit nonetheless…. I know common sense is not all that common anymore, but try to keep up please.
And they all suffer from the same issues: engine out coolant leaks, engine out oil leaks, engine out carbon blasting. Valve stem seals, turbo lines, and one of the dumbest coolant systems ever used on a BMW. And that’s saying something given their history with coolant systems.
