That’s a common blenny/ shanny. Not a weever. They’re not venomous at all, neither are the LS scorpions you caught. Also, it’s not LRF if you use bait.
Weavers are simaler colour as a whiting with a little black spikey fin on top what stings you, we used to catch them on mackerel float all time but not seen any for a few years now
The little jetty well and truly battered now was a good mackerel spot in the 1970's
Its a gobi also known as a mud skipper very common around the estuary

Had loads of weavers on the beach. I don't really do much lrf fishing so still abit unsure of smaller species
@@MR_COD_1 I've never done lrf before I've got a lrf drop shotting rod like what I use for perch on rivers, but never tried it for sea fishing
That's a shanny not a weaver and scorps aren't poisonous so both can be handled with bare hands👍
