Auburn residents: HOA mandate invades privacy, puts belongings at risk

The Auburn Greens homeowners association has instituted a new mandate for its residents: Keep your garage doors rolled up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or face a $200 fine. The move was made in response to a tenant who was housing people in their garage, according to multiple residents. Residents said the mandate is unfair, puts their personal belongings at risk and invades their privacy.
