I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

I’m almost 55 and I admire his great husband and fatherly skills so much more than his ability to hunt and fish, he is just all around one of the best men I’ve ever come across and actually admire and look up to for a variety of different reasons and we can all learn a lot from him on just how to be a better human and if we do that then we will all become better at whatever skill we are seeking.

Can we all take a moment to notice how strong this man is and how good his technique is??!?! Most people will use the boat as a leverage point to take pressure off themselves but this man just straight muscles the fish and somehow doesn’t get pulled over the boat!

Seeing you fish reminds me of when I used to fish with my dad when I was little. It’s quite bittersweet because I haven’t been able to go fishing with him in about 20 years. He has a condition that causes the cartilage in his spine to deteriorate, and he’s almost 60% blind. You remind me of my dad when he used to teach me how to fish. Thank you for that.
