The following is a link to the leaderboard for all board sizes on all difficulties: www.speedrun.com/minefield?h=...
The following rule is from the above link: Timer Starts upon selecting "Start Game" on First Board and Timer Ends when "Congratulations" Screen pops up on the final completed Board of the Run.
Message to soulslayer434 (the mod who verifies the Minefield runs; here's the link to their CZcams channel: / @soulslayer434 )
I hit "Start Game" at about 0:01 and the "Congratulations" Screen pops up at about 10:41, which makes this a run of 10:40. If these end marks are wrong, feel free to correct me and I'll edit this video accordingly.
Recently, I decided to do runs of All Board Sizes, All Difficulties because I've gotten much better at Minefield since my last submitted run for this category (which had a time of 13:14 and can be seen at this link: • Minefield All Board Si... ).
    GAMES IN THIS RUN
Medium and Hard: 0:01-1:40 with a time of 1:33
Big and Hard: 1:57-4:16 with a time of 2:14
Small and Hard: 4:37-4:59 with a time of 0:18
Big and Normal: 5:12-6:18 with a time of 1:00
Medium and Normal: 6:33-7:45 with a time of 1:06
Small and Normal: 8:00-8:20 with a time of 0:16
Big and Easy: 8:32-9:19 with a time of 0:41
Medium and Easy: 9:46-10:09 with a time of 0:22
Small and Easy: 10:35-10:40 with a time of 0:05
THEORETICAL POSSIBLE TIME FOR ALL BOARD SIZES, ALL DIFFICULTIES
The following are the best times (with links to each run included) for each of the settings in this category and how much faster they are compared to the games done in this run:
Medium and Hard ( • Minefield Medium, Hard... ): 1:14, nineteen seconds faster
Big and Hard ( • Minefield Big, Hard 1:... ): 1:34, forty seconds faster
Small and Hard ( • Minefield 0:04 mins Sp... ): 0:04, fourteen seconds faster
Big and Normal ( • Minefield Big, Normal ... ): 0:51, nine seconds faster
Medium and Normal ( • Minefield Medium, Norm... ): 0:38, twenty-eight seconds faster
Small and Normal ( • Minefield Small, Norma... ): 0:05, eleven seconds faster
Big and Easy ( • Minefield Big, Easy 0:... ): 0:25, sixteen second faster
Medium and Easy ( • Minefield Medium, Easy... ): 0:10, twelve seconds faster
Small and Easy ( • Minefield Small, Easy ... ): 0:00, five seconds faster
The following are segments in the video where I lost a game and how much time was wasted:
9:39-9:46 (clicked a mine on the first flip of the game): waste of seven seconds
10:27-10:35 (clicked a mine on the second flip of the game): waste of eight seconds
Adding together all of the above (both how much faster the individual games could've possibly been and how much time was wasted with lost games), it's possible for this run to be two minutes and forty-nine seconds faster. Theoretically, this means a time of 7:51 is possible.
I don't feel like calculating this but a faster time than 7:51 is also possible when you factor in how the best individual runs and menu navigation in between games could've gone faster. Whatever the theoretical fastest time is, getting it would require you to be extremely lucky because some mine placements make for faster games than others and you need very good mine placements for nine consecutive games. Just getting nine straight games without a loss already requires a lot of luck since clicking a mine within the first few flips is a common way to lose.
