  • Memphis is the birthplace of rock ’n’ roll, New Orleans is the home of jazz, and between them lies a stretch of rich bottomland called the Mississippi Delta, the land where the blues began. Also, there’s a lot of good food and drink along these 400 miles of river road-smoked barbecue, fried catfish, seafood gumbo, beignets, French-roast coffee, and the famous hurricane drinks of New Orleans.

The Indian is a work of art. A modern classic, well put together and finished.

Thank you, used this as a plan for our recent trip. Loved the Hollywood Cafe, looks so old, wouldn't of stopped off without you recommendation, loved it. Also a highlight of our trip was Vicksburg, great old town with a lot of history from the civil war times.

An excellent presentation, but I do take one exception. When you mentioned great authors from MS, you forgot Harper Lee. She was confidant to Truman Capote, his ghost writer, and they grew up together. Besides that she wrote To Kill a Mockingbird, which one of the greatest American books written. If she only wrote one book, it might as well be one of the best.

Great Video! I, too, love the blues and would love to know who performed the song and the name of the song that was presented at 8:47 of the video. I do hope you guys do more of these kind of rides on video. Really entertaining. Thanks for posting, and ride safe!
