Honestly I love the Y60/70 design & my current case is the 011 Mini with the distro plate. The price is pretty high but it doesn't scare me off for what you get. However I've been wanting to get back to my ITX roots & I'm hoping Hyte is cooking up something new besides the Revolt!
Just ordered one, love the build you did here also the snow white version, fun challenge finding the other components in white and getting enough cooling capacity (thinking 2x280 for better noise control)
How good is the airflow?? Cant decide between h9 flow or hyte y70
Really nice case and I really like the display as I just recently researched how to add a display to my existing Corsair Crystal Series 570X. My set up is a 2020 build so I can’t justify a new case. I really like that panel. Also stunning build you did.

That is a sick case! I almost bought a hyte y60 but went with phanteks nv7 as the y60 would starve my 4090 of air. Glad I did as the nv7 is a wonderful case with all the space I could ever need!
The y70 won’t do that. It’s bigger than the y60.
It's deffinetly a nice case and practical. I myself have always wanted qnd for a lian li 011d and feel everyone's copying them. But props for uniqueness with the screen
I think it’s a great step up from the Y60, but I believe they need to do it without the screen too. Not everyone wants it and it does add a good chunk to the price.
Exactly this. I would love this case for the extra room for the GPU but the screen doesn't seem worth it for someone like me.

Thanks for the rundown, it looks super cool, but I wouldn't use it for a build since I don't need the screen, and honestly would rather see the inside of the tower more :) Also... that hoodie is awesome!

This is my next case. Yes it is expensive. But its not just the touch screen, its all the build options you can do with this case.

Only question I have is what kind of RAM did you use? It's very likely a 2+2 dummy kit but I couldn't find anything that looks alike.

Thinking this may be my next case - it just looks so good! The touchscreen is a bit overkill for me, as I don't think I'd really use the touch features on it, but at least it looks responsive.
Same tbh, I like the idea/looks of it, don't think I'll actually use it much for anything though other than for stats/weather/clock, still super cool though!
@@TechTesseract totally agree. I do love just being able to see all the stats and even weather, at a quick glance.
Using this to build my pc in the next month or 2 the display will make it great for streamers since you can have chat open on that display

Never understood people putting a screen there. The unique aesthetic of the case is it has a glass quarter panel to show off the components inside, why block the view?
Idk bro I love it. Been eyeing up hyte cases for a while now and this might be the reason I pull the trigger. Only reason I'm not already in a y60 instead is because I've changed cases twice in as many years already lol

Honestly I'm not really sold on the screen just yet I'd buy it without it just to have that extra space because the case has grown in me. I may still buy it though I need another case for my other X570 system.
What do you use to control the fans colors? the Lian Li connector?
I feel like that rear fan slot could probably fit a second 120mm fan.
I'm going to try and get that screen for my Lian Li 011 dynamic XL ... will be nice for the inside.... dont care about the touchscreen just want some info and nice visuals :)

Great case, great features but with the price set at $360 it will be a no go for me. For PC builders who do not have an budget this will be a great case for him or her.
If they release the basic Y70, it will be dope with cheaper price
I got the y70 that's able to be bought without the screen. And so far it's an easy build. Again I said so far. Still waiting for some things to come in before I'm all done

Great review! But you're right, that price is just hard to justify.
Currently have the Y60 with the LCD mod (which honestly is already expensive enough), and was considering upgrading to the Y70, but the price is VERY offputting... I mean I knew it was going to be expensive, but still... It's basically $450 over here in Norway after sales tax. (4990 NOK)

@@jamesharnish650Nope, $53 more than what a new Y60 + the LCD kit costs here. Also keep in mind the Y70 comes with 0 fans whereas the Y60 came with 3 if I remember correctly. Good fans arent cheap either, and the Y70 can fit a lot of them.
@@WRITEX$53 more? MSRP of the y60 is $199 + $160 screen = $359. It’s only $10 more. Just because the y60 is discounted now, doesn’t mean that’s the actual retail price.

How do the EK Radiators fit? I know the Y60 is a bit.... Tight. an extra thick 480 EK radiator on the side is really hard to fit. The 360 rad from EK had positioning issues as well as the cut out doesn't quite align. I had to drill new holes into the rad holder in order to fit it correctly.
What is the name of that disc you're building on & where can I get one? I'd really appreciate the knowledge.

I have a space question. Is there enough room behind a the vertically mounted GPU to hide a SFF like the A2000 for additional display ports?

Cool screen, but your CPU load is sitting at 9%, and I suspect that's just to run the screen. Amazing looking case however, and an awesome build by you. Great job.

It's a nice idea for a pc case in a while but IMO, only looks nice in reels/shorts where creators or influencers need to push consumerism. Most people who end up buying this case will probably play with the panel for a few days then barely even use it once the novelty wears off. Hope they make a baseline Y70 without the panel but with all the other improvements!
Oh my god I need to get a windows activation key today and I'm building a new PC for my oldest daughter who's off in college and this is a case I'm going to build for her. Also is going to be white and I wanted to see what you used and how much you paid. So funny how things work out
great looking case but here in canada it cost 500.00 which is more then half of what im going to spend on my new i5 13600k build. I just want a simple case that can hold 3 360 rads . i want low temps over looks . and id like to spend less then 300.00 any ideas? oh forgot to mention ill be using an xfx 7900 xtx

Maybe its just me, but calling this case super expensive just does not Jive for the rest of us who have had to go through trying to BUILD anything CLOSE to this! This case @ $320 bucks is an AMAZING VALUE! I'm going to be purchasing the case shortly after I finalize the rest of the build details.

Hello! I recently got the same case, but once I installed Hyte Nexus, the software doesn't start up. I've also tried installing it on another PC, and it behaves the same way. Have you experienced the same issue?
