- TOP 10 FAVORITE SPYDERCO KNIVES THAT YOU CAN STILL BUY. Even though they haven't released many new models lately they are still one of my favorite brand. I love their use of so many different steels and they do a great job with the heat treatment on a large production level. We take a look at my current 10 favorites as of 2022. I would love to hear what some of your favorites are in your collection or ones that you want to pick up.

I agree. I prefer the Sage 5 over the Delica or Para 3 as well. I really like my LW with the micarta scales by Parson's Bladeworks.
I am a fan of the Delica and the para 3… can’t go wrong with either I do want to pick up a smock and wouldn’t mind a chef as well.
One heck of a collection of these. I am fortunate to own a regular Manix 2. Wish I could get a smock. Thank you Mr Stassa.

My favorite Spyderco models are the Manix 2 lightweight,the stretch 2,the police 4,and the LC200n salt series.
The standard Sage 5, Para 3 with Denim Micarta and a murdered PM2 that I never carry. I should probably sell it.

Favorite Spyderco...🤔 I like the tanto Pm2, Paysan and Nilakka a lot, each for different reasons.
Somehow the Smock continues to elude me. I could have picked up that BHQ version but not really a fan of coated blades on folders.

I'm a big fan of the Native series because the thumb ramp on the others don't line up correctly for me but my absolute favorite is the Shaman
Great list. Love my dragonfly 2 in K390 … 5th pocket or easy to clip or stash in anything
My current favorite is the Lil Native slipit as I live in the UK, but my other faves are the Urban, UKPK, Tuff, Carribbean & Schemp Bowie.
I love spyderco my police is probably my favorite but all Japanese models are great users..I've used vg10,s30v,s45vn,ctsxhp,m4,rex45,k390 from spyderco had problems with s30v on one pm2 but the rest worked great

My delica and dragonfly in ZDP189 from Massdrop have held the test of time and ZDP holds a fantastic edge

Nice list there. I have a bunch of Enduras but I'd probably grab the Stretch more often it had the variety the Endura does.

Loveeee my knifejoy Bowie but really wish I wouldn't have sold my XHP one.
My fav spyderco is my manix 2s far and away, I own the vast majority of all the models of it both LW and G10, only one I'm missing is the rex45 LW model.
Yeah I like my knifejoy Bowie but I’m with you the og Bowie is awesome. I had sold mine a couple of years ago and ended up finding the one I have know for an actual reasonable price so I jumped on it. I love the Manix but with my hands being as bad off as they are I can only really enjoy the LW
Great video. Sage 5 with the compression lock in M4 is really underrated at $160.

- PM2 (haven‘t had a Para3 yet in hand)
- Caribbean (LC200N pioneer)
- Superleaf
- Chinook 2
- Delica (I loved my Sabre Grind version for the extra heft)
- Terzuola Slipit … great and weired
- D‘Allara (for grip and sentimental reason … my first Spyderco)
- Yojimbo 2 (latest but most endured purchuase … great knife, great pie e of Spyderco history)
I would love to have
Original Police Stainless, Kapara, Starmate, Chaparral Sun Moon, PITS, Smock, Bradley 2, Canis, Kiwi 4 and should definitely lokk in some Sage model. Slyz Bowie will stay a dream. I am working on some of the available ones.
Love your list and even seen a couple that I was unaware of due to my absence from the hobby but back and so far am totally blown away how much things have changed.I would have to start with my delica as it was the knife that started it all for me.I wouldn't have dreamed 9/10 yrs ago I'd be spending up and over 500plus on a single knife but so goes the addiction.2 my pm2,than my manix,4 my native 5 I lost but the dragonfly 6 I've yet to get one but the sage anyone and the smock looks interesting and the one you have with the blue Jean micarta and of course lil native and well we will just have to figure it out after I get the ones I have not yet added.I love your reviews and the details and obviously your commitment to the community.
Yeah I’ve been around for a long while and it’s crazy all the different trends that have come and gone and one thing is for sure there is a new brand that pops up daily lol. Well glad you came back and thanks for checking out the video 🍻🍻
As a guy with big hands, I love my bigger spyderco knives. My overall favorite being any iteration of the Shaman, Manix 2XL, and the native chief, which was a total sleeper for me. I held off buying one for so long because I didn't think I'd like it and I'm really not a fan of backlocks in general. The Chief in rex45 has been my most used knife for the last few months. Everyone should at least try it. I can't wait for the m390 sprint. Definitely scooping one up.
Good list love spyderco the lil backpacker is one of my personal favorites though it’s overpriced and the Domino always wanted that spydiechef just never pulled the trigger trade ya.
Schemep Bowie and kapara are my favorites lost both to my prior job 😭 but hands down my favorites.current edc is s45 sprint para 3 or p’kal
Chaparral is my favorite, I have one with the titanium scales. Great for days when you have to wear slacks.
Nice job. Loved SPYDERCO forever. My fave has always been the Native 3. Yeah, I know, crummy steel, one sided grind. But it's SO good in hand and very light and well balanced, looks great too. Love the Shaman and the Rubicon for the same reasons. Hate my Manix 2, cause it's uncomfortable and impossible to operate one handed.
PM2 in S45VN & Police 4 LW in VG10.
The Cruwear/Micarta PM2 gets a few bad raps from some due to the edge-to-edge steel liner necessitating that the scale be thinned out at the compression lock to the point where you can flex it in that area. I for one, cannot imagine a scenario where it would affect actual usage. Any thoughts? I love my Spydercos and have many from your vid in my collection and have to say that the Sage 5 LW is probably my favorite. Thanks for the show and subscribed!
Great recommendations!!! I have my kapara and Cruwear Shaman in my pocket today!! Plus the manix 2 XL! The spydiechef is another great great knife! I really love my Spydercos because they perform and the company actually cares about what it’s customers want!! Great video brother 👊🏼

Fond of the police, slysz Bowie, PM2, military, manix and the K2. Rocking the resilience in s35vn also. Don’t hate any of them. Fifth pocket fillers the spy opera and the lc200n dragonfly.
I miss my k2 I sold it like an idiot after my accident because I couldn’t carry the larger folders then so I sold it, maybe I’ll search for another one 👌 I almost added my military but I’ve been carrying the k390 police a lot lately so I let it sit out this time but it is on deck 👍🍻🍻
I tried to like Spyderco. I got a PM2 and I didn’t care for it. I was told to try a Para 3 LW and I did. Hated it also. Traded them both for one of my favorites, Benchmade mini freek in carbon fiber.
How does the Kizer Assassin Button Lock compare to the Civivi Conspirator?

Have a new Spyderco Lineup (in possession or had one time):
- PM2 (have CruWear version, blade great, Micarta poor)
- Manix 2 (have a G10 M390 version, don‘t like the aggressive metal chimping)
- Smock (great shape, nice lock version)
-Caribbean (still one of most underrated Spydies)
- PITS (great Slipjoint design)
- Terzuola Slipit
- trusty Delica (oldie but goldie)
- Bradley 2 (nice, perfect if there would be any lock access)
- D‘Allara Leafshape (why did I let it go)
- Shaman (had one of the first, have gotten way to expensive to reissue, but great ergos … just a monster Manix)
I look out for a Native, Sage (for classics), a Stretch K390 (will he a strong challenger for the PM2), Lil Temperance K390 ( a bit pricy). Spyderco makes great knives.

Wow. How did I not know that the Manix 2 LW had pinned construction? That's a deal breaker for me. Really wanted one, but I'll stick to G10.
Yep it sucks , at least they didn’t pin the pivot but I really wish they would start putting hardware on the body
within the past 8 months or so, Eric Glesser announced at one of the shows that the Manix 2 LW will move to a non-pinned construction “soon”.
There are multiple videos I’ve seen of him saying this on CZcams but I can’t remember which off the top of my head right now. I’m fairly certain it was the same show where he said the Manix 2 LW will be coming in Magnacut soon

The only Spyderco I own is a Sage 5 LW wearing Karbadize Fat Carbon Mars Valley scales. A lot of the designs just don't do it for me, especially the ones with an over accentuated hump to accommodate the hole (para3/pm2). Would love to try a Slycz bowie or SpydieChef though.

My picks: Stretch 2 (K390), Dragonfly 2 Wharncliffe (K390), SpydieChef (LC200N), Kapara (S30V), Chapparal (XHP).
First two are working knives in Seki's best patterns and steel, SpydieChef just a well executed idea that happens to be very corrosion resistant, the Kapara the happy balance of EDC and refinement (MagnaCut version please!), Chapparal the gentleman's knife in a good steel.
Are all of them save the Stretch 2 a bit overpriced in 2024? Perhaps. But having spent a lot of time nickel and diming on the used market, they hold their value.
I really wish the Golden knives evolved with the industry faster away from the over built knives of a decade ago. I'm never going to use a pocket knife as a prybar. I also wish they contoured their slab scales. For a co selling high middle range production knives in 2024, and one with a reputation for ergonomics, it's hard to justify purchases where I'd want aftermarket scales, turning $170 knives into $300 ones. Yangjiang companies are now offering better ergos, Maniago always has, and once they sort their heat treat reputation, it'll be tough selling slab scaled knives.
I have a lot of spydies, but the one that get the most pocket time is.. my delica, can't help it, i luv my delica😅

I really like your reviews and I really like Spyderco knives however I don't like any of the lightweight FRN and the Enduras or the Dragonfly or the Paramilitary 2 I do like the Smok and the Mannix with g10 I really like the PM3 and the Lil Native and the Native 5 . I have around 32 Spyderco knives and I love to take them out and flick them and it drives my wife nuts. Thank you and God bless you

Sage 1 and 5 outshine the delica and the para3 any day of the week. Shame with Sage your steel choices are limited S30V, M4 or Maxamet. All are great steels. But para3 steel variety makes it easily the target for collectors who like to get everyone of the para3. Don’t know how many are there? At least 20-30 different ones so also the pm2.
Never heard someone say the pm2 is uncomfortable to their hand. Also you start a top ten list at 1? So 10 is best? Confusing
You are getting hit hard with spam bots, some really nasty ones. I report them but you might want to keep on eye on it. As for the review love just about every Spyderco, just can not get to be a fan of the compression lock.
Yep I report so many of them every day I wish there was something else I could do. It seems like they have gotten so bad on the sit in general I’ve been seeing them a bunch on metal Complex’s and Neeve’s channel a lot as well. I think I’m going to message CZcams support and see if I can do anything else
@@Stassa23 Good luck, I watch many knife channels and yours seems to get the worst of the spam bots, although as you mentioned Metal Complex gets it really hard also. If I may make a suggestion. Beez Blades was getting hit pretty hard also. So he encourages his mods to report and delete the bots. It seems to be working, I don't see them on his channel much anymore. Maybe the more people that report them the greater the attention CZcams gives to fighting them? But anyone can report them, just click the 3 dots in the upper left hand corner of the bot post and hit report. We need to fight this as a community.
