Been waiting years for a para3 salt. Really looking forward to an expanded salt lineup. Huge upgrade to h1/2 or lc200n
This footage must have been hard to sit on! With the 2024 discontinued list announcement followed up by the most recent reveal, it really feels like spyderco has finally caught up with all their back log, getting back to R&D and announcing new models while clearly ramping up US production with the new factory expansion. I think we’re back to the Spyderco we all love yet moving into a new exciting era!

From what Eric said, I can’t figure out if there will be a Manix Salt with a black/DLC blade offered. He said they like to offer both plain and DLC blades but it seems most lightweight Salt models are plain. The black blade would look great and match up well with all the black hardware on this knife!
What’s Spydercos HRC on the Magnacut?
Since it’s Magnacut in a “Salt Series”, I’m guessing 61 to 61.5 hrc. Higher hardness reduces its corrosion resistance. So it’ll be tough AF, highly corrosion resistant, but still have edge retention equal to S35VN.
i wish they'd gone VANAX for the Salt models, but this makes sense

Got a native 5 in magnacut and want a lw chief salt. Am happy with the native, on top of its other attributes, magnacut is nice looking.
I just ordered a Microtech from them. I noticed that DLT has a PayPal option and doesn’t charge sales tax whereas other knife sellers do.
Make deep carry clips standard so every person that buys one doesn’t have to immediately go buy one. It the first thing people mod on their spydercos
Love the compress lock I've owned multiple Pm2 over the last decade it's my favorite knife to edc everytime I switch out to a different edc I always miss it & come back to it I think all Spyderco knives should be compression lock whenever possible.

I’m sooooooo excited for so many of the new models!! I one of each of the new CruCarta models, the Magnacut PM2 and the SPY27 PM2 and a few others. They’re such a cool family of genuine knife enthusiasts. That’s why they make the best production knives out today. They’re not a corporation just crunching numbers, they’re a family of knife guys making really cool knives in some of the best and exotic steels. Everybody else might have 3-4 steels they work with total and never even consider crazy to work with stuff like Maxamet, 10V, 15V, Rex45 and many others. Not Spyderco! Hell they have Maxamet as a regular production run steel! It’s not even a special run or anything

👏Bravo Eric . Greetings from Canfield Ohio . I just got another manix 2 on Sunday . Good job on that one 👍. It’s an awesome performer and great edc imo . And the ronin 2 has been a great edc . I wouldn’t have thought but then I carried and used , haha .

I love Spydercos...l have more Spyderco knives than any other, but...
Please Eric, use more deep carry clips. I'm currently switching most of my Spyderco knives over to Lynch "stubby" deep carry clips.
Spyderco makes the best knives for everyday usage, but in a pinch they could save your life. (I know from experience)
Damn that salt manix, subvert (secondary market pricing it at about$325), native chief variants are going to be awesome.
But how about some new designs?
I strongly dislike the compression lock, it's why I stopped carrying my PM2, but absolutely love the SpyderCo Knives that have it. I really wish they'd offer some, or all, of their Compression Lock Models with different locks, instead they are changing other models over to The Compression Lock! 😂😂😂😂 Oh, well. Can't win 'em all.

204p 20cv m398 all the same.
I had a maxamet and it broke while making kindling. Very disappoint in that steel, it's brittle. I think that large hole provides a weak spot for the steel. 1 star, wouldn't buy again.

Spiderco guys must hate Larrin Thomas if you look at the knives they launch Magnacut with. Was hoping to see a premium Para 3 in Magnacut instead got the Para 3 lightweight with that cheap yellow scales. At least the Paramilitary 2 is finally available in Magnacut even though that yellow and black is probably the ugliest scales ever made. Sad when you see the awesome Sebenza 31 with titanium and Magnacut. Good premium knife for a great steel designed by someone in the industry.
Left handed Military 2 please. Using a wrong sided compression lock on a larger folder is precarious at best.
