Those Wallenstein wood splitters are made right around the corner from me here in Ontario by the Mennonites. I typically will take my knife or axe and expose a bit of that nice white inner wood on the bait sticks for a visual attractant as well. Always enjoy your videos. That’s a great idea for the strap on the Wallenstein! Going to try that on mine. I have the WX540 with the Honda, looks like that’s the same model you have too,just with the newer engine?

Good video Brother! I always enjoy your videos. Did you have much trouble getting the permit to carry the sidearm? I thought about trying to get a permit to carry mine but figured it might be to much hassle. Take care.
Getting the permit wasn't too bad, the first time you apply you can only get it for one year, but after that you can get the 2 year permit, some piece of mind to have it on your side with the amount of Grizz we have around.
To me it all depends on what you're using it for, Honda will never let you down, but I can say the same with Yamaha, I tow lots and that is where the Yamaha shines, their clutch system is the best in my opinion, you can't beat an automatic for hauling especially in in hilly terrain, no shifting and loss of momentum. I've owned Yamahas since 2005, 3 Grizzlies and 2 Kodiak's and have never changed a belt to this day. I would say if you just want a reliable machine that will never leave you down, just follow your gut feeling, either would be a great choice. If you have challenging terrain and plan on towing lots, I'd say Yamaha Kodiak 700 or the Grizzly. Just my thoughts, hope this helps with you're decision.

In Canada only a few professions, trappers and mineral prospectors are a couple, are allowed to get an ATC (Authorization to Carry).
