I love port protection. I wish you could do a few more seasons because I can’t have enough of Alaskan nature and this unique part of the world.
There are roads near Port Protection.
They can drive all the way down the island to the ferry that goes back and forth to Ketchikan.
Just across the bay is Laboucher Bay, the location of a former logging road construction camp (Robertson & Sons) and a logging camp (Tux. Logging).
