I think we can all take a lesson from Spike to not let our pasts define us. Sure our pasts always come back in one way or another, but that doesn't mean we have to revert to the person we were then. God gave us the will to move on so that when we except him, our sins, our regrets, and our failures are no longer held against us. For we are saved in our faith. Just as Spike turned away from a life of crime, we can turn away from life of hopelessness. "I've bled all that kind of blood away," -Spike Spiegal
Exactly brother. Redemption. Changing your ways. Its poetic though, at the end of it all, Spike still had to face his past. I think thats a key lesson in life. Live a good life because it is always a part of you. You can try to live a better life - and you should. But you can never escape your past until you confront it.
SPIKE SPIEGELLLLLLLL How are you brother? How was your week! I'm pretty chilled today, I'm watching this anime called Big O, it's got the same dub voice actor as Spike! What you been up to this week? Love you brother, you are blessed!

Psalm 37:4: "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"
*Psalm 37:3-5: “Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.”* *Jeremiah 17:7-10: - “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.””* *2 Peter 3:14-18: “So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”*
When God gives us the desires of our heart he’s going by the good things. The heart is tough because some desires are good and some are bad, and we as humans have an awful time distinguishing between the two. God doesn’t.

Man is inherently a finite being. So while we might desire things out of a sense of scarcity, or even things that are good that can be described as excellent, or things that would not be wishing harm upon others but to do good onto others, the heart on its own can be still full of doubts, misgivings, and fears. Even when we have those things that we would desire to have and pursue, the heart can still falter. In that faltering a man can error, or all the same, a man can feel overcome by a sense of helplessness and futility. That is what is the propensity to sin and to feel overcome by it. The more a man runs towards God in his search and desiring for goodness to be in his own life, the more he will find his finite nature within struggles of restlessness contrasting with God in His infinite nature Who gives rest to the weary.
I such wake up in fully burnout and this pop out, definitely God still has my back, when i don’t have that much sense of his presence or other things that all mayor Christian has. I’m just living the life with God.
You lost me at lord, I am not subservient to the imaginings of uneducated feral desert scribes who wrote such fairy tales and I believe in myself, not in what herd animals tell me to believe
Hey hope you're doing well. Please read the Gospels (Mark, Matthew. Luke and John) which describe the life, teachings and deity of Christ. I could link/send you some stuff that proves the reliability and historical accuracy of the Bible if that would be something you're interested in? My friend, please realise that no one has to submit to God but that means on the day of Judgement you will be judged for every sin you have ever committed. Every lie, theft, lustful deed etc will be judged by a Holy God. If you do not accept the gift of salvation Christ has freely given you, you will have to take the eternal punishment yourself. I care about you and I don't want you to suffer, in all humility I ask you please consider looking into the gospels found in the Bible. Learn who God really is and the depth of his love for you, God bless you. ❤
