A lot of people, far too many, treat God like he's a genie. They naively believe He will just whisk them out of whatever trouble they've landed themselves in. We aren't to regard Him in this way. Jesus himself echoes this, "Test not the Lord your God." Here, we see what such intervention does warrant: "He rescued me because He delighted in me." If you want God's greatest blessings, then you must be His greatest servant. Do not look to others for validation of your deeds. Do not only do the minimum of daily prayer and church on Sunday. Lastly, learn to respect when He says "No." Remember, He has a plan greater than ours and that will often require sacrificing our plans. Be willing to do so.

Last year today actually i believed in God for the first time and this year I got *Fully* saved and not lukewarm but last year I was worried sick and and anxious about my health and thought I was dying because of a sickness and I got multiple Gospel videos on my fyp and I thought to just pray and that I prayed for help and that was the first night I got a goods night of sleep with 0 worry and then I proceeded to go back to the world and in December I had those same anxious thoughts again so I prayed for God to remove them and he did..as I went back to the world but this June I stopped living for the world and started living fully for God and not using him, earlier on I was struggling with porn and masturbating before I had went to Christ fully and when I was in the cycle of lust I repented but willingly went lord again proving I hadn’t really been in for God as I hadn’t been reading my word and not been praying regularly only for repentance so I realized Jesus was coming back and how much I was being a lukewarm bad Christina to God and I had started fully living for Christ in this July I believe God called me back

I refuse to worship God, because I can be good on my own. I call to him for the strength to help others and to spare the ones I can't, but I don't call up on him to forgive me for my transgressions. I can carry those on my own and I can prove I'm worthy of more without him having to show me what's right. Edit: most of you misunderstood my meaning when I said this. 1)- GRAMMAR. If you are going to make a personal statement about something as important as religion....shouldn't you CARE enough to be taken seriously, or enough to defend your statement well, or enough not to incite the trolls/GN's?
2)- 'IF' you did actually CARE about this, why would you leave your statement 'open'? Why not give a defense for your assertion?
3)- Do you believe that your 'words' are going to accomplish anything, especially since they don't make sense grammatically and might make you seem to be 'dumb' or 'lazy', thus people will not take your comment seriously.
4)- And 'that' is NOT a 'demon hand sign'(sing🚫). It's just the main character focusing his energy during a fight....against EVIL.
5)- If you truly are distressed about this, please do you due diligence in not making yourself(and Christians by extension) look inept & judgemental.
