This of course was a reply to Will John.
Minä nautin tästä.
This game shows you have to deserve your luck. I hope other Finnish teamsports learn this as well, basketball is well on the way to European top, volleyball was there, now it´s touch and go, football/soccer national team is on a rise and that´s the most important to me.
Yes.you make your own luck. its like unwritten rule, If you have ~ 35 shots its almost certain 1 bad bounce goes in
The main thing is not that Finland wins, but that Sweden loses.
Happy NEWS Year 2021 - We are BACK in Town !
I love this!
I swear watching the world juniors always about the give me a heart attack, the games are so intense. If that stick doesn't break we would have a different world champion now. If Luukkonen doesn't make that save on the penalty shot we would have a different world champion now. Proud of our boys bringing home another gold medal. And how about Jokiharju perfectly sweeping the puck to his teammate while laying down on the ice a split second after the broken stick? It's a game of inches...
Just a suggestion to players from a goalie - when you're in a shootout break wide at first and move in on an angle. Going straight up the ice is never a good idea it'll be too easy for us.
What company made that stick. Lol
anyone thinking finland “deserved” to win is wrong. shots on goal aren’t everything, and the finns got as lucky as u could imagine in this game. rip canada wjc 2019
Why is there kotkaniemi in the thumbnail
DiPietro held his own out there. As a Canadian (but living in San Jose), anyone in Canada who said that it was a fluke, let me tell you that Canada had loads of opportunities to score another goal, but didn't
I’m a girl and I’ve played ice hockey for 5 years. Still love it. And i play it often
I'm kinda happy we lost, someone else could finally win gold.
In 6 years - Finland 3 Golds ! WHO IS The someone Else ?
I’m just saying
the sound of silence?
Congrats Finland! From Canada fan.
It’s kinda hard to win a game with just one goal but it’s really easy to say the opponent was lucky
No soup for you canada!
