Amazing game! Both these teams were so even it could've gone either way. To Russian fans, keep your head high! You have a lot of very talented young men who have great careers ahead of them. Both teams fought hard until the end. One team had to win and one had to unfortunately lose. Whenever Canada and Russia play it's always a classic. Thank you for a great game. We hope that such finals will be annually. two hockey countries should play like that. that was great. the only thing we did not understand was why the judges did not count the penalty when the puck flew out of the field. she even hit the camera, not the glass. we should have had two minutes in the total majority. but overall, it was a great game. hope for a rematch in the next finale. Best wishes to our Canadian friends from yet another hockey country.

I thought Russia was a better team today, especially in third period. They had better puck control in offensive zone and controlled the game through the middle of the period. Ironically they have lost in third period due to tactical errors, foolish penalties and some luck that was on Canada side.Overall great game, two best teams met in the final. Hopefully we can see more Russia vs Canada rivalries.

Две ошибки судейства были, но на что они повлияли бы, если бы наши не допустили тупых удалений?
Одна - не удалили канадца за выброс шайбы, вторая - удаления нашего игрока за, якобы, игру сломанной клюшкой.

Great rivalry. One of the best games in junior history. Intense and close. Somebody had to win. Hockey is game where a single check, a single play can win a game in the final few seconds. No shame to lose by 1 goal. Full respect to the Russian players: they showed their skills, speed, finesse to be world class. WJC finals have become some of the most exciting hockey to be played. I recall this game well. The Russian goaltender is the reason the score was not 6:3 for Canada.

In both gold medal games both teams could have won. Although I couldn’t watch it I listened to it on the radio on the way to work and then sat stubbornly in my office listening to the game. Man the Russians were fast and for quite a while I didn’t think we could pull it off.

I considered that a tit for tat call with the bad call that led to a Russian goal. Should have been a holding call on the Russian player but instead was a holding the stick call on Canada.

Что то я заебался ждать побед. Последний раз мы выигрывали соревнование с участием сильнейших хоккеистов в 1981 году. 38 лет назад. Прошло уже столько Кубков Мира. столько Олимпиад. Выигрывали и шведы и чехи и американцы, не говоря уже о канадцах. Для безграмотных уточню ещё раз. Речь о настоящих соревнованиях, а не о тех, где играют вторые, а то и третьи по силе сборные. Как на чемпионатах мира и последней олимпиаде. Это как чемпионат Мира по футболу, в котором бы не учавствовали играки Барселоны,Баварии, Ювентуча, Реала и ещё сетырёх сильнейших клубов мира. Абсурд!
