There's no mistaking a Dyson vacuum when you see it. Whether you're using an upright ball vacuum, a handheld Cyclone, or a motorhead vacuum, there's something distinctive about their design. And even refurbished, many find them the best on the market.
But the sleek and transparent vacuum we have today is a far cry from the cardboard and duct tape prototype built by a man who had been such a terrible student that his headmaster wondered what he’d do with his life.
It took more than 5,000 prototypes and near-constant financial debts and the threat of bankruptcy for Dyson to go from a company on the brink, to "outselling its competitors 3 to 1", and bringing in billions of dollars every year.
This is the story of Dyson.

My Mom was told to stop trying to be an artist because she was blind in one eye and was not able to draw a straight line. Well when she told me this, I just looked her in they eye and asked her to find the straight line in all of my artwork. Me Mom was proud of my ability to draw and paint and had always said she wish she could paint like me. After asking her to find the straight line she went out the next day and enrolled in art lessons. In her 3rd year of art classes she won first prize for her Christmas Sean painting. When she accepted her prize she said, “ I like to thank my daughter for asking me where the straight line was in any of her paintings” I was so proud of my Mom I remember doing a works shop with her and realised I wanted her to shine brightly so I fringed a headache so I was not able to paint😹😹I am so glad that I did the pice she painted is stunning it’s a picture of the coral reef with fish swimming and playing with a couple of turtles swimming around.😊it hangs in the living room to this day as a reminder that she could do anything she put her mind to it. It took me almost 24 years to convince her that she had the same talent as both her sister and myself.

Literally cannot fault it and spare original parts are bit hard to find now so when ever time comes, I'll get a newer dyson, it's been battered through 3 house moves, gets used on carpet, wood floors and car/van yet still works as it did on day one and plastics have never cracked they scratched etc but that's it. For either customer, dyson is a point of reference, adding emotions to an otherwise boring and arbitrary decision. Brilliant, as even selling few dyson, means giving other customers the feeling of having pick the "economic, but still name brand option".
