- International Relations and Co-operation Minister Naledi Pandor says the judgment today by International Court of Justice (ICJ) is a victory for people of Palestine. ICJ has ordered Israel to take measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in the Gaza Strip. It must prevent destruction in the besieged enclave and ensure that basic needs are delivered in the strip. This after South Africa dragged Israel to the World Court for ceasefire in Gaza. Pandor has welcomed the judgment.

The ratio of soldier to civilian deaths in Gaza is 1.5:1 - the lowest casualty rate ever recorded in history. The UN estimates the global average to be an astonishing 9:1. This is especially impressive since Hamas places its infrastructure, launch pads, bunkers and ammunitions in densely populated areas and near hospitals and schools.

To some extent. I think she could have spoken more defiantly. She is being polite and trying to balance both sides. But what she does not know is that oppressors and oppressed are two different situations, and there is a lack of balance that causes that situation.
