Ohhhh that steak looked perfect, John. Did you know that if you substitute the word "burnt" with the word "charred", eatery establishments can charge extra on a menu, and many folks will happily pay that premium for some char !!

I was preparing our meal , I had two cryovak steak lying on the picnic table to get room temperature. A neighbor camper asked me a question , I walked over to converse for 5 minutes , came back to continue meal prep, one of the steaks were GONE! A redhawk had grabbed it flown away! Too bad that was the wifey’s steak!

I did have to look it up to get name of it, but I remember watching a video about a place in the Florida Keys, with it's history, and that they will stamp your passport if you want, when you visit there 😁
