Aww omg! I saw the tour today and was just thinking about this bc I remembered that Rob had read that DM when he was on Broadway. I’m sooo glad that y’all reconnected and reconciled. That’s so amazing!!! As a child who’s parents also went through a rough divorce this and the ending of the show when Mrs. Doubtfire is responding to Katie have always resonated with me 💙🩵
It’s nice to see Jake as Chris returning to the final curtain call of the show’s performance and I assume Avery was unable to attend there, but such a great show. When Mrs. Doubtfire comes to a town near me next year, I’m for sure to check it out and maybe do a review of it!

I'm just now learning about the backstory and how he almost aged out of the production. Did they eventually replace him and he just returned for the last shows including the one I saw?
Tyler & Titus were sharing the role of Christopher and Austin & Ava were sharing the role of Natalie in the closing cast. Jake was there bc Tyler & Titus had both gotten covid at the same time if I remember correctly. But yesss so awesome that he was able to go back for the last few performances!!!!
Do you happen to have a video of the time rap? Or the rest of the show? The one that's out now is totally different from the show I saw closing night. Pm me if you can :)

Seeing this is very sentimental but I honestly cannot help but wonder if Rob may return to his role in Beetlejuice??? Don't get me wrong, the guy who took over for him (David) when he left for this show has definitely done a great job, but still, since most of the OBC cast came back (minus Sophia/Presley), why shouldn't he?

@@provincetown yes he came back because all the new Christophers were out sick. He is a terrific comedic actor and I’m happy he returned for the end.

Respectfully, you can’t just blame covid for this stinker of a musical. It was an great play with 2 good songs and 16 mediocre ones.
This was one of those shows I loved despite the forgetability of the songs.
