- Today were taking an early look at one of the most anticipated sneakers to release all year, the Jordan 1 Patent Bred. They are speculated to drop on December 30th to end off a very insane month packed full of sneakers. This iconic colourway of the Jordan 1 now comes in Patent leather which is more polarising to some however come release i believe the colourway will superseed the material choice and most will be happy with these.

You know what I actually love the patent leather it gives it a unique touch and I think it looks fire
These are great. Even tho I’m not the biggest fan of the patent leather I really like it on this as it makes it feel more like a celebration of how iconic this color way is.
Creasing issues are for dead stock collectors only. Forget about it if you wear your shoes. This is a great shoe, but agree patent leather is an acquired taste & not for everyone. Great content, TY
Straight to the point review 💥. The bred 1 patent I believe will drop as originally planned. It’s loaded on SNKRS and EAs went out yesterday. I was lucky to get Ws x 3 across the full family sizes

Generally speaking patent leather cheapens sneakers imo. Especially long term. I think most anyone that enjoys the AJ1 model will make an exception with this pair due to colorway, however this would be a retail only hit for myself. Not an after market pickup

It's FIRE. The colorway and the patent leather.
These joints are nice, I rocked a pair to a boxing match in Atlantic City everyone was giving mad compliments.
Despite some people criticising these they are going to be in really high demand and I think prices will just continue to rise. The patent leather is a differentiator to an iconic colour way. Think how good they will look at the centre of your sneaker collection!

Super Dope shoe. If you buy your correct size you won’t have to worry about creasing for some odd reason people go up a half size on there shoes SMH that adds to creasing in most sneakers IMO

Nice review as always. Think these would look mad with waxed black laces to match the upper. Further for a fit I think matching these with a black shiny puffer jacket would be nice as well

They fit the same. They have a slightly stiffer feel as you walk but they fit TTS

It's different.
11's have a flex point with ballistic mesh or regular leather depending model,
and that small end/beginning portion helps to relive some of the pressure from the patent leather.
Without this the constant bending compression from our feet builds up,
which stretches and weakens the material faster to the point of cracking.
This is why you often see those ugly ass creases on the toe box of patent leather 1s but not on the 11s.
11s have always gone better with patent though, with 1s it just doesn't feel right

Honestly I think these would of been better as a low. The patent leather makes me want to dress them up I’m sure most people will wear these with pants so a low would of made more sense for me.
