If you want to find something scary out, look into how long those pervs last if they target boys.

Same here. It makes me thankful that my own teachers growing up were at the very least decent human beings, and I trusted all of them. But you can be damn sure that had I *EVER* caught wind of anything like that happening at my school, my first stop wouldn't have been the Principal....oh no, it would have been the "School Resource Officer", as he was a uniformed and visibly armed on-duty police officer who could regularly be found at the Guidance Office in the Library, and I was very familiar with him (and him with me) as in my middle school days he was our D.A.R.E. Officer instead, so I'd known him by name for several years at that point. If I had the slightest doubts as to whether something would be done if I went to the Principal (though I'm certain that if I *had* gone to the Principal with accusations like that, he would have absolutely taken it seriously) I could just go to the Guidance Office and report it to our Resource Officer instead. And in the event that nobody at the school would do anything, I'd have told my parents and been vehement about reporting it to the police or anyone else who could make sure something was done. Even as a kid, I had a strong sense of right and wrong, and I had very little tolerance for any sort of abuse from anyone (which may be one reason why I started getting popular with girls in HS, as they likely felt safe simply having a quiet albeit friendly guy [I was the very definition of a "gentle giant", I preferred to avoid trouble, but mess with me or my friends and all bets were off] of my size nearby).
The only issues I'd ever had with any of my own teachers were that one of them was so bad at his job (in other words, he was completely incompetent) that he literally put me to sleep in class (and I *NEVER* fell asleep in class!), and one of my HS gym teachers thought that I was faking an injury (something I had *NEVER* done before, as I legitimately enjoyed Gym class!) when I very obviously *COULDN'T PUT ANY WEIGHT ON MY RIGHT LEG* without leaning on something/one for support. It wasn't until I actually tried to walk and had an extremely obvious limp and was in severe pain that he realized I was genuinely hurt (it was an ankle sprain bad enough that I was on crutches for a little over a week while it healed) and sent me to the nurse.

I had something similar to that my freshman year of high school. I hurt my ankle playing softball during PE class (luckily, it was my last class of the day) one day that October. I was able to limp my way to the locker room and change back into my regular clothes, but as it progressed, the amount of pressure I could put on my ankle decreased significantly. To the point where I was practically hopping by the time I was taken to the hospital by my mother to get checked out. Turns out, I had broken my ankle in two places. I was going to be laid up for 6 weeks total for recovery. I'm glad my coach understood and didn't force me to do anything reckless, but a very small handful of the other students in the class accused me of faking my injury to get out of exercise.
Story 1: Ive said it before and i'll say it again; schools are among the most unsafe places for children, and that is a big proof of that, both the gym teacher and his son. Screw both of them, hope they are miserable for life.
Story 2: OP's computer, OP's rules. Buzz off lady. At least the teacher had the OP's back here. If you want Frozen so badly, put it on one of your own devices or at home, don't demand someone else put it on on their devices.
Story 3: Dont you know your own staff, lady? Like, come on. What an idiot. Corporate or not, dont you have a look to see who works there or at least, has something like a nametag? Good thing he complained and the rest of the higher-ups dont seem too fond of this woman either. Hopefully her contract doesnt get re-newed.
Story 4: The first problem here was allowing the 17-year old son to have a party of any kind when youre not there, thats ALWAYS going to end in some kind of disaster. The son should've kicked that guy out of the house (and possibly others) the moment that stuff was going around. As for the kid in trouble here, I dont think the kid should face any discipline at school, as it was at a private party, off school property and not on school time, and because its not 100% proven that he did do it. You can't brand him guilty just because he was there. As for the great-grandma, this is by no means profiling. Don't try to pull those kinds of cards here, its just going to make things worse.
Story 5: I wouldn't object to the OP's gf hanging out with Carly here, but don't bring all of her personal drama into your life, and definitely not into your own home/condo. Since the condo solely belongs to the OP, i think he has every right and then some not to allow her there. Also, a lot of that drama is none of their business. Its one thing to confide in a friend and all that, but its getting a bit excessive here and a line really needs to be drawn here. OP is not a jerk here.
Story 6: I can understand the OP wanting to re-connect with her dad here, but Brenda is a complete snag and i wouldn't want to be around here either. Brenda is 100% in the wrong here and she had absolutely no right to talk like that about the OP's sister. Totally uncalled for. OP is neither being a jerk or dramatic... but Brenda sure is. Hopefully the dad will come around, but it seems unlikely.
For story 4 I think they’re the AH. They had no reason to contact the school ESPECIALLY with the “evidence” of him being there and people interacting with him at a party. We should know what false accusations have against a person life with court cases recently ruining peoples football careers because of them. She should have concrete evidence if she were to go to the school if ever but she should tell her son not to interact with him if she really thought he was selling. I just can’t wrap my head around telling a school this kid might be doing something but I have literally no idea it’s just a suspicion and it upset me when the narrator said that if he’s innocent it’ll just blow over! Nothing like that just blows over the way he made it sound.
In my experience, when I was still in school (which was almost 20 years ago now, to be fair) they were very safe, and I had full trust in my teachers. In High School we also had a "School Resource Officer" (a fully uniformed and armed police officer that pretty much all of the students were familiar with) present on-site nearly every day. So I knew that if anything ever happened, I could go straight to a teacher or our Resource Officer for help....though thankfully things never got anywhere near that bad.
Story 3: I was at first dreading that it was one of those stories where a manager "fires" a non-employee to placate a Karen customer (which, for the record, the manager SHOULD NOT do because it encourages the Karen to keep doing that), but it ended up being something else entirely, and the only one who seems to have done anything wrong was the contractor who "fired" OP.
Story 5: OP, your relationship is over. The GF is siding with the ex of the friend. OP is siding with his friend. This division is, and already has, started ruining the relationship. Break up with the gf, chill with the boys, and just move on.

Hard disagree on the story about the kid who may have dealt drugs. Without evidence that’s slander. It’s innocent tell proven guilty and something like that could ruin this kid’s future for life all because they thought he may have been responsible.
Story 4: The parents profiled the boy, they have no proof just suspicion.
And why did they contact the school, that has nothing to do with the school.

While I agree about the parents taking responsibility with the drug in their home, I think the parents are the jerks based on how they dealt with this however the father seems to have realised that fact.
Honestly there seems to be a racial background deliberately left out of the story to keep the OP 'reasonable'.

It does sound like they are probably right but telling the school was a step too far I think. They should have called the boy's mother or in his case legal guardian and/or the police. Lastly what responsible parent allows their 17 year old son to hold a party at their house of around 40 people when the parents are out of town? Sounds like the parents hadn't even talked to their son about how to handle things like if someone brought drugs. This scenario goes beyond if the parents are jerks or not. The parents are totally irresponsible. The parents dodged a bullet in that no one overdosed or was hurt by the drug taking in their home. If anything bad had happened they could have been held liable or even faced criminal charges.
The narrator must really be privileged for just assuming like the OP that because someone is struggling, they are doing something illegal. It touches a nerve for me because I grew up in poverty and at any given point, I didn't want to go to people's houses because if anything went missing, I would be the first suspect yet I have never stolen anything in my life and paid my own way. OP, his wife and this narrator are vile privileged a-holes.
I have such a Physical Ed teacher. He actually takes liking on specific (good-looking) girls, which didn't have to really do anything to score a few points. It's always the good looking girl's teams that win, it's because of this teacher. It's not only unfair, but also creepy.

Something similar happened with an art teacher in my school but instead of taking pictures or leaving weird notes he was getting way too touchy with many 13 to 14 year old girls and he got fired or resigned (after many of the girls started telling the principal) instead of getting sent to prison

5th story, the friend CHEATED on his wife cos the relationship was going through a slow patch and left the ex and his child with next to nothing. The fact that op is 22 tells me that he is picking ignorance over realising that his friend is trash and needs tobe called out and dont wanna think about what that says about him as a person by sticking with his friend. My hubby has a friend who slept with another friends fiance and instead of kicking the cheaters to the curb, made the 3 of them play nice. If i had been around at the time i would have called them out. But since i am newer to the group i have to play nice and put up with the cheaters stupid drama and attention seeking. My hubby is a little on the spectrum, so i understand the changes would have stressed him out. But as someone who had to grow up in the aftermath of her own dad cheating and screwing my mum over in so many ways, i have no pitty for people like this

Most abusers are family, homeschooling can enable that and keep it hidden. A lot of parents aren't adequate teachers.

You see I was at a amusement park yesterday and me and this woman and her son and friend was on the stage coach ride with me and I was expecting a nice 8 minute ride of some peace when the mother and son start screaming hi multiple times and if no one said hi she would softly in the coach say how rude. Well we were halfway through the ride when I told them to please stop it. They told me that it was a place to have fun and they can be as loud as they want. They still did stop yelling though. But as I was getting ready to get off I told them thanks for ruining a nice quiet ride and they told me that they weren't that Loud and when I yelled out hi 3 times to show them what it felt like they called me a Karen. Then as she was getting out of the stagecoach I said she was the Karen. Don't know if she heard me or not. But was I in the wrong for saying everything? Should I have just endured it in silence? The friend and son were quiet throughout the encounter

Profiling story: I disagree vehemently with 'Am I the Jerk?'s perspective. That was profiling because from watching a video of some kid in the kitchen, you cannot conclude that they are a drug dealer, maybe they are popular. OP and his wife are a-holes because they took it further by calling up all the parents with unfounded allegations and even calling the school. Perhaps there was a stranger who sold the cocaine or the girl herself got it before she came in. How do they know its true? Plus which kind of parents allow 40 teenagers to party in their house? Maybe its their kid dealing drugs and thats why he had all those others over and was lying via his body language. If OP and his wife didn't know that kid's situation, would they have picked him?
Cheating friend story: I also disagree. The fact that OP has no issues with a cheater and has an issue with the aggrieved party shows the lack of moral values. His girlfriend sees this and realises that OP could similarly cheat and his friends would justify or encourage it. That's gross. Supporting cheaters is gross.
I am actually appalled by both judgements in this channel because they seemingly come from a place of dismissiveness without any empathy for the aggrieved parties. Its weird coming from a channel that promotes fairness.
