Oh wow, amazing idea! Been wanting something like this to cut a slot for splines in miters, just might have to give it a shot myself

I was experimenting with my saw and I drilled 2 holes to attached a depth stop. I used a 6 mm carbide drill and it worked. At first, the drill was skating all over the place but I pushed a little bit harder and it caught on and started to drill through. Maybe next time I'll used a dremel with a small diamond bit to start a small dimple for the drill bit to stay centered. The drill came from a cheap set from Amazon. By the way, I just subscribed to your channel.

Sooo cool! I was looking for a similar solution :) In the past, I've epoxied steel together using JB Weld (cold weld). It worked great, and was super strong. I think I'll combine your tips with that approach :) Quick question: Would you be able to share the width of the cut kerf once the 5 blades are together? The video reference on its own makes it a little difficult to gauge... It seems close to 3/16th?? It'd be much appreciated!!

The kerf width is 5mm, which is just under a quarter of an inch if I remember correctly. Thanks for watching!
