Great resilience and character by the team:
-Brees, started poorly but went 11-11 when we needed him the most
-We were playing from behind for most of the game so we didn't run much, but when we did we made it count.
-Vonn Bell has been a revelation, real aggressive and punishing hitter with a knack for making big plays
Reminds me of the game in FedEx in 2009 where we were trailing 31-20(or something like that) with two minutes left and Brees got picked off but Meachum stripped the defender.
JMT btw that game where Meachem stripped the ball away and scored....it happened against the Redskins 👀

The Meachem play was actually in the first half. But the saints were down 30-23 with 2 minutes left, redskins in the red zone and missed a field goal. Saints drive down to tie and won in OT

Good game to the Redskins man, my emotions were everywhere. They say these are the Saints from 09, well this game reminded me of the Dolphins game in 09 when we came back and won. I definitely think the Redskins playoff hope are alive, they are a good team with an easy schedule remaining. I wouldn’t be surprised if they won out. Nonetheless, WHODATNATION ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️
Its funny because back in 2009 the Saints played the Redskins, and the game went into overtime where the Saints would win by 3. (33-30 F/OT)

I know if this team manages to make the postseason, and now our schedule will actually get easy from here on out NO ONE is going to want to play us because they are so battle tested.. Props to NO today but I know if we run into them again they definitely wont be afraid of them.

i was there. it was insane- we were right behind the skins bench so we were surrounded by skins fans with a few saints next to us. right when that kick was good, i swear the entire place exploded. everyone was so happy, jumping up and down, hugging and highfiving eachother. skins fans behind us threw their trash on the ground and bolted LMAO- our tickets were around $300 for 2 people around section 100.

As a saints fan we got lucky because soon as our star rookie cornerback got injured we got exposed our other cornerbacks are trash and our best linebacker and safety Klein and Vaccaro was out that game so we got pretty damn lucky win

One of the best regular season games I have seen this year. Chiefs / Redskins game was a good one too this year. Redskins came to play today. Best 4-6 team I have ever seen. They had some tough losses this year. 09 season when the Saints played Redskins in Washington was a great come back to go 13-0. Redskins always played the Saints tough. Almost like a division game lol.

for the actual Saints fans, i wanna say congratulations on a good game. to all banwagon Saint fans that thought New Orleans was gonna blow out the Redskins, well i called this game last week an upset of the week and the Redskins did not disappoint. they didn't win the game, but for 3 and half quarters Washington dominated this game and for a minute there it almost became a blowout. but that's why Drew Brees is one the best, because he did a good job leading the Saints to those last two scores and then the field goal in overtime. in keep in mind the Saints were at home, and the fact that the Redskins were able to make a game out of it. the Saints pretty much had to dig down deep in order to pull this game out. now to be fair the Saints did play Seattle a week ago, and the Seahawks take alot of teams. it's even harder to play another tough defense. so to all the troll accounts that pretend to be Saint fans, you make the actual Saints fans look bad. im 32 yrs old i've watched football ever since i was 5 yrs.
