I'm on a page with Mothers asking what to do with their kids' graduation gowns (we don't have these in Australia). I'm definitely going to recommend your beautiful idea. Imagine wearing the dress to your next Reunion?

Not gonna lie, clicked not because of the dress but for the neckline. I'm gonna try it for my wedding gown and needed help. Also I'm obsessed with your Deku shirt. Thanks for the video!

i didn't know you have to buy your own toga/graduation gown! my exp is my school let's you rent one (a week before graduation, a tailor comes to our class and measures us for the appropriate toga gown) and then you receive that toga on the last day of the final exam and a few days before graduation ceremony! and then you return it during class card destribution.
this was a pretty cool tho!

@@sherryhannah498 I'm sorry; but, I don't know what you are annoyed about? My graduation black gown is still whole. I used it one time in a play. I don't see how that was annoying to you. Years ago, I asked my husband if he minded me cutting up my wedding dress and making a new dress from it! He was fine with it, so I bought some silk friendly dye and completely dismantled the dress and made a new one. The skirt was so poofy that I made a whole new dress just from that! I still have the bodice somewhere - probably in a bag in the attic. I haven't done anything with it!
Edit: forgot to say - love your new dress! Waste not want not!

Might do this with my gown. It will also give me a dress I didn’t have before. I’m not huge on sewing, but your videos have made me question that. I do needle point and it seems that they are a little similar in some ways like the patterns and such, but I think I’d like to try it out after watching your videos. Now I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but if you do, do you happen to have a video on sewing stitches or could you make one. It would be cool to learn the different stitching and then watch your videos and be like “oh I know that one!” Anyway, I’ll hopefully learn that and how to use a sewing machine soon. I learned how to use one back in middle school, but I wasn’t taught too much. Hopefully it goes well though
