Lots of people are either too cognitively impaired or just haven't really followed him off the court in the past couple of years: this kid is intelligent, poised, mature, patient and at the same time HUNGRY and focused af. He ended up in the perfect environment for someone with that IQ and competitive drive and THAT is what makes him he best prospect in history. Like he's like this AT FUCKING 19 YEARS OLD. Wemby could easily average 30 if he didn't put the ball on the deck or camp out at the 3 point line. Even though that's how modern NBA works now.

Impressive game for Wembanyama. He is insane in Clutch, just like Jordan and Kobe were. And he’s only 19?! That’s just scary AF man. Damnn he is breaking the NBA y’all.
Devin Vassel’s absence in the second half is showing that Victor isn’t afraid to step up and take the #1 scoring spot. Now he is posting up like a big man, attacking the rim more, and getting a good feel for his game in this league. Only five games in and he is just getting better and better!
He’s already showing to be the modern day Wilt Chamberlain. He is dominating everyone on every angle. People just cannot guard him with that speed, agility, and wingspan. Forget about muscle strength.. he’s like the guy on Fantastic 4 with that reach. Literally nobody can do, or has ever done many of the things he is doing in these games.
Victor Wembanyama will win Rookie of the Year, and also Defensive Player of the Year no doubt. If he can put up numbers like Luka Donkic, he will be MVP this season. But I am not sure he can play like this every game at this point. He is still learning and growing. But I don’t see another power forward better than him at this point beside Giannis. First Team All NBA maybe? He will absolutely be an NBA All Star his rookie year.
What a game though. Keep it up Big Vic! Go Spurs Go! It’s a good time to be from San Antonio. We are so grateful and blessed by this young talent. And what a class act he is also. Such a bright and intelligent young man.

Wemby is surely a one of one man. As for the Suns, Windy is right, an Ayton, even with the chemistry issues with the organization, would have been much more valuable than a defensive liability in Nurkic, and Suns are rlly being picked on in the interior even by a skinny unexperienced Wembanyama.

However clearly suns are a team that he strikes in that "interior domination" area thru watching the last two games, which is a big concern to see for the suns part considering they surely should be trying to be in championship contention right now. Nurkic need to man up and at least be avg, not look bottom tier defensively getting pounded by skinny frames when he is that massive himself.

Yeah that sounds nice, but just remember that Wilt Chamberlain broke the all-time scoring record of 31.1ppg in a season in his rookie year, by averaging 37.6ppg.
Somebody put respect on Wilt's name. And Wemby needs to get his ass closer to the rim and just dominate. He doesn't need to take any more than 1 dribble and risk turning the ball over.
It's still a small sample size, but Shaq's rookie season is still outshining Wemby's.
But I want to see WEmby succeed. He's got a good jumpshot. So why doesn't he dominatee like wilt did? All he needs to do is post up and just use a fadeaway. Nobody's going to block that.

I actually thought Scoot was going to be the one starting off strong, while Wemby struggles the first month or so, but I was dead wrong, it's the other way around lol. The Spurs had a 20pt lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, then Pop sat Wemby out the first 6 minutes of the 4th & the Suns came back & took the lead. When Wemby got back in, he just took over & they beat the Suns by 11pts, he's a major difference maker. He's clutch too. In a game with Booker & KD, it's crazy that Wemby was the best player in that game last night, & KD Booker both played great too. If he continues playing this way, he'll probably be an Allstar. I think if anything, he just needs to put on some muscle & get more sturdy, he still looks very flimsy on the court, it's like watching Shawn Bradley dominate lol. Also, as the TNT crew kept saying the other night, he needs to set his screens harder. I'm excited to watch this kid's career though, just hope he doesn't get any serious injuries.

I think if he bulks up and stays flexible the sky's the limit for this kid. Right now 19 there's nothing to stop him. I just hope he doesn't sustain any real injury because he could possibly be another Greg Oden but I hope not the kid is good to watch

No need to bulk much. More weight is more stress on his joints and ligaments. He already doesn't need to overpower anyone to become an all time great. I think it's better for him to sacrifice a little dominance for longevity.

Great Show , Wembanyama is showing how good he is going to be with these rules today, and a man with this talented where you can't touch him, already scoring at ease. There is no way to defend him. It's like Wilt Chamberlain coming to the league in the 1950s ( there was no stopping him back then) This was just his skill set.and what i saw last night this young man won't be able to be stopped in 2 years or less or by the end of this year bearing injuries. He's a over Grown K D with handle 7'4 feet tall, ,and he can roam the floor at will, And if players beat him up inside the paint he can still give you 25-30 out side. A New era. MY Knicks can't get a Break.

The only reason he doesn’t get the same level of hype as Lebron James when he entered the league is he’s French. Otherwise I truly believe his talent deserves it. His game is truly transcendent. We have to see how far he will go in his career but as of now, he is arguably the best rookie since Lebron James. Other great players like KD, Luka, Giannis or Steph needed time to be great but this kid has been amazing from the get-go.

Starting Sean Clifford at QB over Will Levis at Penn State shows you why James Franklin has the Nittany Lions always finishing 2nd or 3rd in the conference.
Can you imagine Levis throwing to KJ Hamler, Pat Freiermuth,Jahan Dotson, Brenton Strange, Parker-Washington and Tinsley.
That might have been the period where Penn State jumped passed Michigan or at least Ohio State or got in the playoff
