    Pinning parallel. but a bit below the seam line, is quite helpful in sewing in the "ease"

    Thank you. I was sewing from the wrong side of the foot, and couldn't figure out how to hold the fabric with two hands. This was my fourth take on sewing a face mask seam, and the closest I could get looked like a stoner ant trying to stumble his way home after a serious bender. After watching you, I did it the next pass. Again, thank you.

    to help with the block laying flat,...use a thinner thread (80ct) and a smaller stitch length along with that...

    so the secret is to purchase the die cutting machine...lol i was looking for a homemade poor version for the sewer without the funds!!!
