"there is no su binary installed and supersu cannot install it" I'm getting this prompt when ever I run supersu since my moto g got updated from kitkat 4.4.4 to lollipop 5.0.1. I was using a rooted device before the update! but now I want my phone back to Kitkat because my moto g 1 is not able to handle lollipop and hangs alot! So please help me out with this.Thank you!

TWRP2.7.1.1-titan-motog-2014 is what the .img file is called for me it says its currupt and i cant use it to flash ive re downloaded it i dont know how to fix this any help?

I used my moto G2 for near about a year. I installed a custom Rom of marshmallow when the official Rom of it was not published.
After installation the rom I used it for 2 days & then suddenly it shut down & never turned on till now.
by pressing power & vol. down button there is no response. Only when I connect my mobile to charger or PC the notification light up, but nothing on the display.
what to do?

by the time i am entering everything and its almost done, its showing "Boot up Failed". Can you explain why is it so..??

In command prompt it showed that unlocking failed, but on rebooting my phone I got the screen of that warning thing that your bootloader has been unlocked. What is it?

while trying to flash recovery it shows mismatched partition size.
ive got my moto g 2014 XT1068 on lollipop 5.0.2 ive found the super su but i cant find the TWRP for lollipop or is it the same?
Will this process work on the Global GSM version of the phone (XT1063)? And also, will it work after my phone is updated to 5.0??
i have a Moto G2(2014) XT1068 and when i try to unlock the bootloader by pasting that string on the site it says "Your Device does not qualify the bootloader unlocking". Please help me asap.Thanks

all done but after doing all pc part that TWRP as per the video not opened "no command" with andriod sign when i select recovery soo what i will i have to do
very useful video, I still own a Moto G 2nd gen and it rocks despite the small internal space, memory and cpu...
i completed all the PC steps. but at the last part where i select the recovery setting on my phone which would boot up into TWRP recovery. my phone says "NO COMMAND". and thats it. nothing happens. a few minutes later my phone just booted up as normal. nothing happened.

Hello I just followed all of the steps and no matter what image I flash to the phone, the following message appears when I try to boot from recovery: "boot up failed". Please let me know what should I do. I have it running v4.4.4 (16GB version).

is there any other way to possibly rooot the phone or any thinnng to unlink

i tried it. the device unlocked sucssesfully but after that the unlock code couldnot restart my phone and the process failed
Rooting 5.0.2 displays an error in installation of SuperSU. It says that there is no SU binary installed and asks to re-root the phone.
Already re-rooted the phone thrice. Any help ?
my device is not rebooting after i flashed it with TWRP what should i do? it's showing the "warning bootloader unlocked" and every time i press the power button it's vibrating and again displaying the same screen..
To root my phone, is my only option to root it from a custom recovery? Can I also root it through the various other One-Click methods? My phone is unlocked, by the way.

Hey Ash, i have followed ur instructions properly.
NOW at one step: where u opened up CMD window for TWRP (fastboot flash recovery) i have done that and all previous part properly, after done exit in CMD mode on PC.
On my MOTO G XT1033 in fastboot screen, it shows this message : "Mismatched partition size (recovery)" in PINK color.
and for ur further instructions, u said that click vol - and select recover click Vol + but it not booting, on screen it says BOOT UP FAILED.
Tell me what should i do, i m in big trouble- i m doing this first time.
Please help me out Sir.

every thing is done but still displaying "there is no su binary installed and super su cannot install it.this is a problem,if you have just upgraded to android 5.0,you need tomanually re-root -consult the relevant forums for your device."

I assume this will also work on the first generation Motorola Moto 3 (prepaid) verizion phone. Yes ? No ?
Also, I understand that this "prepaid" cell phone is GSM. Unlike the contract version which is CDMA. So, what I am working towards is a Moto G Tracfone, by way of the "bring your own phone". I should be able to do this, if the phone is unlocked. Yes ?
