Your recipe at number 3 is probably the best for me. Its everything like about the April method but inverted and without the uneccessary bloom. I can't justfy some of the other 30g per cup recipes. However... I recommend trying the Bould Brothers recipe over ice replacing the added water with 100g+ of ice! Thanks Carl
I’m a big fan of the Fellow Prismo, personally, mostly because it makes the process less fussy. It’s nice not having to worry about things dripping or have to do obnoxious inversion things.
Only watched two videos to know I had to subscribe. Succinct. Descriptive. And one of the few folks with a 1zpresso review. Looking forward to your content!
I’m always confused on the times. Like for example recipe #2 says start timer, pour, stir, let sit for 60 seconds. Is that from the time you start the pour or 60 seconds after you stir? I wish recipes would be more clear on that.
My friend, I like your videos keep it up! If I were you I would avoid pressing onto those scales as much as possible - you don't want to damage your load cell
Have you tested Tetsu Kasuya’s AP method (normal, not inverted)? With bloom and pulse pour, and pressing at 3mins. The initial grind size I used was resulting in a small bitterness so I kept grinding coarser and coarser , slowly over a few days, then I got to the grind size without bitterness (but then the taste was a little weak). So I increased the ratio a bit, from 1:15 to 1:13.33 and then it really was perfect and it brings up the notes clearly. It’s now my daily driver.
Have had a lot of trouble getting aeropress recipes to taste how I'd like them to... had some really good ones at Coffee Collectif in CPH and at Heart in Portland, but it was years ago... not so much success at home. Will have to try some of these out! Great video. Nice to have the recipes all in one place. I have an idea/request for another video... do you think you it could be a good resource for viewers if you lined up common Comandante grind sizes with the Ode's equivalent? For instance, 30 clicks on an Comandante = 2.2 on the Ode, etc. Haven't really seen any videos providing those kinds of guides across equipment. Cheers.
Could be really cool with a giant grind size guide on all the grinders available. I don’t have the Ode anymore as I just borrowed it from a friend. Thanks for watching!
Great videos. The succinct comparisons really help and inspire to experiment. Was wondering if you could share what the server is use in your videos, seen it in the v60 one as well. Cheers and keep it up.
apart from your great videos and recipes, any recommendation regarding original aeropress vs go edition? I want to go for go edition but have the fear of being not as stable as the original one for both classic and inverted methods cuz of the smaller base..and also if the reduced ounce (in go edition) will affect the recipes can be done with original one?? Thx in advance
a good videos like always can show us a videos of french press and moka like tips the correct form to use how clean becouse i have a bialetti moka is aluminium material and the store tell me only use water to clean dont put detergent or do anything more but i see a litle use the rubber of the top is changing color and i dont know how to keep clean can help us please
Let's say you ground the same bean but prepared it 10 different ways, I wonder if you could even taste the difference in brewing methods with a blind taste test lol.
I know! It was a mistake. I never do it normally but filming can be a bit chaotic so I guess I just forgot to remove the weight one of the times. Thanks for watching!
Recipes in the description!
James Hoffmann just shared this video in his ultimate aeropress video description. Well done!
According to James Hoffmann’s Twitter his version will be along in March.
Can't wait for that!

You've probably seen this already, Carl, but your video just got linked to in the description of James Hoffmann's Ultimate AeroPress Technique!
NIce job! I will try a few of these I did not know about in our cafe in Japan.

Thanks for making this video! Now I have 10 new recipes to try out :)
😅 Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great video and thank you for the Comandante Clicks! It will help me brew both V60 and Aeropress much better :)
Glad I could help

Great video! Bet you were quite well-caffeinated after the shoot. ;)
😅 I filmed one per day over 10 days ;)
Fantastic video!
Thanks!

The coffee compass recipe is my favourite i use 20 clicks on the commandante but maybe i try a bit coarser next time :D keep up the good videos
After dialing in a bit more I also landed closer to 20 clicks. Thanks for watching!

I haven't but definitely will try it out!

This would be awesome!
Awesome! 😍
Great video! Thanks. What is the glass vessel you are brewing your coffee into? Looks very nice.
Kruve Evoke carafe. Thank you for watching!

The kruve evoke carafe
What's your preference out of the ones you've tested?
My light roast recipe or the one from April coffee. I like number 10 the most but it's a bypass recipe so I don't brew it that often.
I used to make the 30g medium/course concentrate with the prismo then diluted it to 400mL. Now I just drink the straight concentrate every day 😆
The 745th LIKE Here! :)
Great video just got my aero press today. What scales are you using here?
It is the acaia pearl model s
Hey C with C , excelent channel. #1 2021.
What is brand wristwatch do you wear ?
It’s from Vincero. The Kairos series. Looks good but not to good on build quality. Thanks for watching !

I'm sorry, but I don't have any experience with the go recipe.
What is the glass container you use to pour the ground coffee in the Aeropress?
The grounds catcher from the Comandante grinder

A clean MokaPot is very important. Use this method to clean: czcams.com/video/I1ccwuVDHGs/video.html
Whats your favourite?
My favourite bypass recipe is number 10.
My favourite normal recipe is either Aprils recipe or my light roast recipe.
Good story behind that scar?
Both are from a long time ago. One from a hobby knife and the other from a dagger (I was cutting wood)
Let's say you ground the same bean but prepared it 10 different ways, I wonder if you could even taste the difference in brewing methods with a blind taste test lol.
Don't tap when the aeropress is on the weights it will ruin the weights.
In general, don't press or tap the weights since they are sensitive
I know! It was a mistake. I never do it normally but filming can be a bit chaotic so I guess I just forgot to remove the weight one of the times. Thanks for watching!
How many cups of coffee do you have each day 😏 and Total how many grams of coffee each day ?😏😏
Just wanted to know 😁
I drink one cup a day. 13 grams. This video was filmed over 10 days. Thanks for watching
Ok , thanks for replying 😎
And what equipment do you use - Aeropress or Pour over ?
And when you use the v60 , which method do you use ?
Just wanted to ask because my mornings always starts with a bad coffee 😑😑
@@mugdho4035 There is a video on my channel called battle of pourovers. Those are the recipes I use
Just saw your videos, you have a great potential but should work on your edit game. Can help if you want :) Peace ✌️
Don’t press down on your scales. You may damage the load cells as they are fairly delicate.
Cool vid though.
Comendante over priced grinder. I like using aeropress but guess what a blade grinder is fine. Sorry .
