- A bed bath is done to help wash someone who cannot get out of bed. The Nurse Aide may need to give the entire bath or just help wash certain areas. In this video, Lisa demonstrates the proper techniques for giving a partial bed bath focusing on the face and an arm.
Great job lisa
Hi. Thank you for watching our videos!
NOTE you don't have to put on gloves to take off clothing its optional but you must once you get started with bath.
Hi Michelle, That is correct!
Shouldn't the hands and fingers be cleaned before arms and underarm?
Hi, Ashley thank you for watching our videos! There is not a distinct order for the Colorado CNA exam.
Yes, you are correct. Cause think the armpit is the most dirtiest most than likely.
In CO you have to wipe and not let the water drip, so you wash the armpit first then grab a new rag and wash the fingers and the hands so that the water doesn’t drip onto them
so many towels used for just face and arms
Hi! Thank you for watching our videos!
I wouldn't feel safe raising the bed up and then leaving to get water.
Hi! We are not leaving the room. The sink is in the same area. You are correct you should never leave the room with a patient in a raised bed for safety.
Do you need to put up the rails every time you raise the bed?
When did you remove the last glove?
Thank you for this video which help me too much. I want to know if is the same CNA skill in all state. I'm in NEBRASKA Omaha. Did we have the same skill like Colorado
Hi, thank you for watching our videos! The skills are specific to Colorado. Unlike nursing, CNA does not have a national test and is managed independently by the states. Your skills might look similar but you should reach out to the state governing agency to make sure. It will be either the board of nursing or public health. Good luck to you!
How many time for this ?
Hi Ana! Thank you for watching our channel!

Hi Jennifer,
Seems like you are missing a few consonants in order to form a word, and one number too many. Unless this is a new slang in which case "10uoimeeeeee" Hopefully I said that right! Thanks for watching our videos!
