Thanks for this Nurse Jar!! My teacher has been very confusing and not really helping me understand how to pass PROMETRIC. More on how to care for residents and patients when we get a job. As much as that helps, idk if some of the tips are gonna help with prometric. I’m from Hawai’i and he told us partial bath is face, hands, armpit, perineal, and back rub. But prometric checklist claims what you’re doing! Idk if I’m going to get partial bath (hopefully not), but if I do I hope prometric instructors follows what you do and not what my teacher did or else idk who to listen to anymore!

I live in Georgia and the Georgia Nurse Aide Handbook does not have the additional washing of the back, under chin and belly area. However, I have really enjoyed your videos. Thank you!

It's been many years since I went thru a CNA Practical. Are the perianal areas washed as a separate skill? Also interesting is that the bed rail is not used, especially during turning the patient on her side. Thanks for your demonstrations.
