Honestly,I had no idea either so I was really curious to hear how Chris was going to respond. These guys are both so annoying. Skip and Shannon always looking for some way to insert a comparison of Lebron to MJ or Lonzo to Steph Curry when it is totally uncalled for. This is about whether lebron is playing the best in his career, it has nothing to do with MJ.

chris lima the question was "do you think this is the best LeBron has ever been" and Chris mentioned other stars being in decline by this time in order to acknowledge how amazing it is that LeBron is still doing so well but he went on to say that LeBron played better when he was younger in regards mostly to defense. Shannon then ignored the latter part of Chris' statement and focused on the comparison to other superstars

If you actually watched games and paid attention you'd see LeBron had no trouble dominating Kobe and his team pre Miami. LeBron finished his career 16-6 against Kobe and dominated every category except free throw %. Phil Jackson mentions this in his book when he talks about Kobe. He says that Kobe got too caught up going against LeBron, he tried to do to much which led to his downfall.
LeBron averaged 38-8-8 against Orlando that series definitely wasn't his fault.
Stats don’t mean nothing win it comes to winning championships. Obviously Lebron was not playing enough defense to get out scored by the opposing team. Lebron giving up 100 plus points a game while crying to win a ring. The NBA changed the rules to make the game easier for Lebron. The NBA stopped defensive hand checking but allows offensive players to push and shoulder check the defense. 80% of Lebron points is driving to the basket. Lebron played within a system with a traditional point guard he would be another Karl Malone. Have you watched the outcome of the NBA Finals lol.

This show is better than First Take. First take Stephen A hates working with Max, you can tell just by listening to them...there is a tone where Stephen A always seem unhappy to show up and says "atleast I'm getting paid". This show everyone is laid back and talking as friends.
He likes and respects Max, but does get annoyed with him. Max has been called out numerous occasions for flopping his stance and claims he's allowed to change his opinion with new information. For example, a few weeks back he said he would take the Greek Freak over anyone in the NBA to start a team then recently goes on a rant how Anthony Davis is going to surpass Lebron next year as the best player in the NBA (this was brought to his attention only because of Davis's recent performance). How analytical Max can be wears out Stephen A because instead of taking the debate head on, which is mostly Stephen A's tactic besides being the loudest in the room, Max likes to dodge and weave. He does like his boxing that Kellerman! Check out Stephen A's radio podcast, he is a lot more loose and I've found it to be a fun listen. As much as people hate on the man, he is one of the hardest workers in the industry and even after losing his mom last year stepped up his hustle even more. Respect.
