Impressive Bluetooth range. If you get separated from your bike in an accident you can still make a call and listen to tunes waiting for the ambulance.

So when the WiFi antennas are well-designed, the range of wireless CarPlay is incredible. The CarPlay in a 2023 Mazda CX-5 I had as a loaner was able to go about 125 feet before it dropped.

Jake will find a way to sync everything, he's smart. Looks like a great product. Good luck with it.

I have the same setup Carpuride w502 with packtalk bold and I am able to control it through the buttons on my comms without any issues. I don't connect my headset to the Carpuride, just to my phone.

    All right, let's find out.

  • @harleypub

When you mentioned the work around, and your ability to get all of the buttons and functions to work properly; Can you go into detail about how you did that with your iPone (i.e. step by step).

  • @jhuntosgarage

Very informative. Thanks for sharing. Bags on your bike to travel? You'll have a raiser one of these days and love it, so will your back.

As Bluetooth ages, it's getting steadily more complicated figuring out which link in the chain each device wants to be. I've had a set of headphones paired to my phone for months then an update to my music app (or something else?) stopped the play button on the headphones from working one day which meant I had to manually stop music when answering calls. I reset the headphones and paired it a several times and now suddenly it seems like it works exclusively with the phone. And I mean before it

    Very cool product .

All of these lose the clock when 12v is interrupted but reset it as soon as connected to the phone. But knowing my ADHD self all too well, I went with switched 12v.

Its not that hard to find a good source of power on a motorcycle. Each motorcycle is different but you can run just about anything switched with the positive side of the load connected to the ground side of the headlight. As long as the load is in parallel it will be fine but will draw more current so make sure your fuse for the headlamp can support it otherwise its fine to install a higher rated fuse for that setup on the headlamp. It worked fine for my heated grips.

    What’s up Jake!!!!

  • @incursore9

It is possible to listen spotify from the phone and voice directions from the device at the same time?

  • @tomfurie2996

Very cool tech. I’ve been looking for a plug & play setup for my 2006 Jaguar XKR, which has an unusable nav head unit. (Junk when new.) Mounting may[ be an issue without harming any of the interior. It’s too nice to butcher. This would really be a game-changer if it ends up working in my semi-daily driver. Thanks.

  • @siamakdehmasi

great video. Question; does this Carpuride have the 'Ghost Touch' problem that all smart phones have? rain drops cause problem when you try to operate it, and device have mind of its own and do weird things?

  • @audiowize

The proprietary ram ball mount is a deal breaker on this. A lot of bikes provide an integrated cross bar for mounting something like this with just a clamp.

  • @michaelcote9044

I would like to know more about this app that has the garage door opener open the garage door when you’re near the house
