I travel alone all the time I prefer it. You can literally do whatever the hell you want when you want. The first time I did it I was a little stressed and worried but after that it’s cake. My parents however do like me doing it because they are worried about something happening to me. Got a week long birthday vacation in Los Angeles coming in August after the year before spending a week in Tampa/Orlando. I travel to different amusement parks and from 2019 to 2024 I’ve pretty much finished my bucket list. The next step is an international solo trip which is a totally different challenge.
i love that! now that i’ve done it i want to travel everywhere lol. there definitely are some risks to traveling alone BUT when the trip goes well, the reward pays off. good luck on your future solo trips and safe travels (:

As a 19 yo girlie who's never been in a real relationship before, I often feel like I'm the most loneliest and the saddest person due to the fact that I'm surrounded with people *especially around my age* being in relationships and having their own person already while I don't, haha. I also don't like to chase. And even if I have crushes, shooting my shot never works for me because I just admire those people, I don't have to date them 😂 The thing is, I'm okay with being single, I just hate when I have no people to go to when I'm in need of someone to comfort me or listen to me and I'm probably being so dramatic typing this but yeah... I learned that instead of wondering why I'm still not in a relationship, I'd still really should honor my precious time focusing on myself at this point instead of just waiting for someone to come and date me. Because it sucks so much, like I don't wanna wait anymore for a boyfriend or partner just to complete me. And I also don't wanna think that my life will only be perfect once I date someone or be in a relationship... I'd really should rather just focus on building a life with just being myself in it and you're right, IT'S TOTALLY OKAY! ❤ sorry I'm just rambling at this point 😅 but seriously thank you!! thank you for this comment 🥹 i totally relate to what you said! i don’t think you sound dramatic at all, how you feel is so valid honestly. do you have friends who can comfort you and be a safe space to vent? or family maybe? i think it’s amazing you’re using your time to focus on yourself. valuing your independence is important, even in a relationship (then comes the “challenge” of finding a balance between independence and interdependence). by not waiting around for someone to complete you, when you do decide to date, you’ll show up as a complete version of yourself, and that person will be able to *complement* you!! the cool thing about no longer waiting around for someone is when we’re no longer attached to a specific outcome, what we want usually ends up happening 🤍
