What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Desertsane ive always had problems with grids like that since school for some reason and I’ve got it checked out a couple times, I have glasses purely for up close work with grids, other than those my eye sight is perfect! thank you so much for your concern though!

I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old, contact lenses since 13, have seen multiple optometrists, and have always had annual eye exams- I’m now 30 and have never seen a majority of the equipment or testing used in this video. Very thorough indeed.

For a long time I watched too many ASMR videos and I was desensitized to tingles. I'd rarely get them anymore. This was the first video in a LONG time that brought them back in full force. I finally got my fix. Best compliment I can give!

I got tingles very rarely for a few weeks and ever since I haven’t got them even once. I feel like I listen to asmr out of habit more than anything anymore. SPR and The Laughing Heart are the only two who actually relax me

I actually used to look for so many optometrist ASMR videos cause ever since I was a kid (even now) getting my yearly eye exam was relaxing to me but the optometrist ASMR videos were never very relaxing. I was recommended this one a while back and was like “Best? We’ll see!” And here I am watching every one of your vids now! I’m glad I clicked. Thank you so much for all you do!

This is the best ASMR video I've seen. Excellent video preparation. The most honest description for a video on all CZcams. Surprised by the picture and sound quality. I thought it was HD, but CZcams says 360p. These are the highest quality 360p I've seen. Great job!

There are so many optometrist old gadgets here, the oddity and fascination of it and your experience in knowing how to use it helped me fall asleep, along with calming whispers. You probably got asked this many times but did you work as one before? :p I can relate to this and its pretty accurate when I get new prescriptions. I especially liked everything with charts, papers and the colour vision book because of the sound they make in your hands. Also the lamp thingy with UV light made the best sounds.

I've always found the eye exam to be quite relaxing, although the best ASMR artists have me fighting to keep my eyes open. With your videos it's a battle, do I keep my eyes open while you administer the test or do I close them, fall asleep, and fail the test?
