- This is the ASMR Eye Exam Trigger you NEED. I've had a few requests for the test with 'blue lights where something comes towards you.' That's probably your contact tonometry test (Goldmann).
The multifunctional Slit Lamp can help! Check out the pressure test later on.

What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Yeah, I try to keep as realistic as possible with props, terminology.
The anxiety this type of test, the probe going against my eye, has always been hard. Somehow this was relaxing.

This is always my favourite part of my trip to get a eye test. I would happily sit all day and let them look in my eyes give me major tingles

This is a DREAM of a video, thank you so much for your dedication to realism + sensitivity to ASMR! One of the subtlest triggers for me in medical/personal attention roleplays is the hush when the ASMRtist appears to be concentrating closely on what they’re seeing/hearing, like when listening to a heartbeat, looking inside ears or in this case examining the eyes. Lots of tingly silences in this one, fantastic!

I've mentioned before but I struggle with asmr unless the person really knows what they're doing- it helps with the immersion. Ive been watching asmr for years and I genuinely think you're the only person in a long time that makes me feel totally relaxed and in the moment so to speak.. you're great at what you do, I do hope you can make it to the top like you wish.

Oh WOW this is exactly it! I’ve been trying to figure out why i love flashlight asmr exams so much. I don’t go to the eye doctor too much but when I do this experience makes me want to melt! It’s like a mental reset relaxation cheat code lol 😂

I love your set-up! I think this's the first time I've ever watched an ASMR tonometry test video, and I got tremendous tingles throughout the whole video from those visuals. I’m not sure if people are just used to the big artists but it’s lovely to be appreciated like this.
At the same time I have to try and come in at a different angle as ASMR seems fairly saturated to me.

Eye exams for me are super tingly, in videos and irl. My optician saved my life by finding a tumour in my brain. (He saw my optic nerve was swollen, sent me for scans and that's where the found the tumour. I'm all good now, and it wasnt cancer).
So please, if your reading this, get your eyes checked regularly AND if you have problems with your vision, headaches ect.

You must have had papilloedema if you have nerve swelling. Seen it once in practice only.

@@SRPASMR yeah I think so. My eye pressure was a little high but nothing too concerning.
I do sadly have some nerve damage as a result. My eyes dont focus as quickly as they should. I've also had to adjust to how I read, with a green filter, to help my eyes in long periods of reading.

I remember having to have an eye exam when I got kicked in the eye playing football. Was blind for 3 hours. This video is a perfect recreation of that! Spot in with everything! Even how relaxed it made me feel :)

hmm it can be a pain as you don't want it to be to loud but not so quiet that people need there volume up to full to hear it, i'm sure you will figure it out and find the balance :).
