- Hi everyone! I've been toying with the idea of getting into bullet journaling since none of my other journal options have been really satisfying my lately and I thought I'd show you guys what I've come up with so far! I hope you enjoy!

I'm SO glad! 😊 I used to be so frustrated when I'd try and bullet journal and make little mistakes, but I'm glad I've learned now that it doesn't matter, even if your journal is going to be on the internet 😂 It's just for you!

I love the idea of a bullet journal but my handwriting is crap😅
Seriously, practice makes perfect! Don't let that stop you! It'll be fun to flip through your journal a year from now and see how much your handwriting has improved 😊
Bullet Journal is about making things practical and easy for you, not to look pretty. That's just an extra if you want to!
Aerial Kahookele your handwriting shouldn’t matter much. It’s more to keep organized and inspired! I enjoy it so much! I actually found that my handwriting got so so much better even after a couple of months of using my bullet journal. I would encourage you to give it a shot!

Same! I still journal but I see all these pretty ones with drawings on CZcams but mine is no pictures, just plain writing that's boring lol

I love the “think before you buy” section. A good rule of thumb is to consider how many hours you have to work to pay for that item. So for instance, you get paid $25 an hour and want a lovely $120 dress...you’d have to work almost five hours to pay for it. That always helps me decide whether it’s worth it or not. Especially because mostly my shifts are five hours long.

I just started putting my Bujo yesterday after months of binge watching videos. Yours looks a lot better than mine! But I thank you for making this video. Drawing isn’t my strong suite and I’m new to hand lettering. But I’m learning and I plan on getting better. Love your bullet journal!
I’m bullet journaling for the first time in 2019 I’m very excited, I’m using the periwinkle A5 dotted notebook from scribbles that matter 💙
I started a Leuchtturm1917 A5 bullet journal in April of this year. I also use sharpie fineliners and staedtler fineliners. I use crayolas and zebra midliners to add color. In the beginning I went a little crazy with washi and stickers. But after a few months I rarely use it and I’m on a BuJo supply no buy.
My BuJo has quickly turned into my favorite thing in the world. Honestly it’s my life. I’m in month 8 and 150/249 pages and November is my favorite spread thus far after a unsuccessful October. I think my favorite thing about bullet journals is that they replace all other journals, planners and notebooks. It’s a one stop organization shop!
I have tried **several** different BuJo styles. And a more traditional style with a yearly future log and monthly log then just dailies that I do preplan work best for me. I would say 9/10 of my collections have been abandoned at this point. My only used ones are a movie tracker for theatre movies, savings and debt pay off tracker, and my running shoes tracker where I record the miles on each of my shoes. Otherwise I just brain dump and try to keep important to me things in my BuJo.
Loved the bill tracker! I do my monthly budget in my monthly spread, but I love having a central location for bills because I forget my do dates too! I also have a wishlist and I write the date next to the new entry. I’d say 95% of my wants I don’t want anymore within 6 weeks. I start my weeks on Monday too. They make more sense to me like that.

I have been bullet journaling for two years but almost all of the big bullet journaling youtubers don’t do any budgeting. I started following you a few months ago when I started looking into Dave Ramsey method. I love that you are now combing what I have been doing myself and I can see your perspective on it too. My issue with mood trackers was I could color code but there was no way I’d remember specifically why I felt that way if I were to look back. I love that you have allowed space to jot down quick notes detailing your mood. Will def have to try that!

I love planningwithkay bullet journal channel. Her videos are soothing lol! I loved the video! I’m not brave enough to bullet journal! Haha
I usually use pencil, then the marker, then put the pen over it. Some pens bleed really bad (like your retractable pen), but the tombow ones don’t bleed as bad as the microns can. Faber Castell is good too.

First time ever hearing about bullet journaling. It’s great if it works for you, but it looks terrifying to me lol. My OCD was quaking with anxiety. Looking forward to seeing how it works for you and maybe doing some more research on how it works in general.
My favorite bujo channels are The Bullet Journal channel, Boho Berry (of course), Sunshine and Stationery, Between the Steps, Pretty Prints and Paper and the awesome and uncensored Cindy of #llamaslovelettering. I appreciate Ryder's new book keeping it simple. Again.

I love this! I’ve been bullet journaling for a couple years now, and I noticed that I was getting too caught up in trying to make it perfect, instead of just doing what works for me. I love some of your spread ideas! What is the Polaroid camera you use? I love the idea of including a photo a month, but I’ve never been sure of the quality of those Polaroid cameras.
I have a Fujifilm Instax Mini 90! So not actually Polaroid brand 😊 I really love it! It gives you more control than just the basic instax camera, but I really like both!
Your journal is looking very nice! I still have mine from years back and it brings a smile to my face to see my accomplishments in different aspects of my life. Michael's sells erasable highlighters if you're interested. Trust me, they come in really handy when you realize you highlighted the wrong thing! It's called Remove by Frixion made by Pilot. Side question: will your car insurance go lower once you reach 25 y.o.?

It took me quite a few hours to be honest 😂 Which is why I didn't film it!
I tried bullet journaling and found that making all of the pages was so time consuming and it was super discouraging. I did the year at a glance like yours and that was the end of that haha! Are you still planning to use the happy planner or is this going to replace that?
This will replace any other planner 😊 I've found bullet journaling too time consuming in the past too which is why I'm trying to make this just super simple and not worry too much about it being the MOST gorgeous bullet journal I've ever seen!
@@alyssamakesamigurumi Did you think of maybe trying bullet journaling in a dot grid happy notes notebook? I think the idea of moving the pages around as needed could help in organizing sections

Scribbles That Matter do a Bullet Planner. It is B5 sized like the journal shown in the video. Everything is already printed out but undated. I started with it into Bullet Journaling and I love it to bits. I am not too fond of embellishing so the whole setup of a bujo would be a chore for me. The Bullet planner took care of this. There even are large habit trackers and about a dozen empty pages, too. Please take a look at it, it is awesome!
Is it ok to store markers in that position? I feel that if I store them like that they'll stop working... Does anyone know?
I've never had an issue with it! I'm assuming as long as you have the cap on tight it shouldn't matter, but I'll let you know if that happens!

Im super excited to start a bullet journal for 2019 but I'm worried that I wont have enough pages for the whole year
I'm probably not going to have enough. But that's okay! I'll probably have two journals for 2019.
@@alyssamakesamigurumi when I did the math (if i did a page for one week, conbined with calender spread, etc) i think a journal with 200+ pages should be good? Lots and lots of youtube videos watching people do it! And I also followed a bunch of calligraphy pages on instagram and just practiced a ton!
