I used to use this method to budget for my bills because it was suggested for people with irregular income (I was payed hourly and didn't have a consistent schedule). I fell off the band wagon over the last year or so, and let me tell you this method makes all the difference! It's so easy, and I never felt like I didn't have enough money to pay all my bills and still have a little fun. Seriously do this you guys! It's so worth it!!
I randomly found you and I been so obsessed. I started to cash envelope my money and got my mom into it too because of you! I don't really have a job because I'm focusing on school but when I do get money I split it up
I've actually done this for years. I've fallen off the wagon and gotten myself back on again every once and a while, but I love splitting the bills so that everything comes out evenly and you always have the same amount needed from each check. Thanks for posting this!
Soooooon helpful!!! This is my first time writing a budget & I'm so grateful for people like you who share your knowledge with others! Makes becoming financially responsible feel possible and even fun for me!
Yes!! I’ve been waiting for this video!
Thanks so much for this video! I immediately adjusted my budget, now money won't be so tight the first paycheck of the month!
Thank you for the video! Can you explain how to do this When you are behind on bills and catching up?
Chely Did you ever find an answer to your question? I’m currently needing to know the same thing& I’m so glad someone else has the same question!
Same
@@PvtSalt I would say sell whatever you can in order to make up for behind bills.
Make payment arrangement plans. Cut unnecessary spending. Sell what you don't use.
This really made so much sense. I guess seeing it written down made it kind of click in my head! Thank you. Love your videos
Starting this now with my September checks.
So excited to start a system.
Working on getting started little by little ♡♡
So awesome!! I hope you love it!
Same girl.
Thank you!! Finally a video to help get started on paying billing in 4th. I just found out about paying in 4ths a few days ago and I was struggling with how to get start! Thank you 🎉
You're channel is growing fast!! Yayay! I'm so excited.
Your hand writing is bomb and thank you, this is so helpful as it seems half of my bills are due near the 1st and half are due near the 15th/end of the month! 😀 oh and I also get paid 4x a month!! Thank you thank you thank you!
You're welcome! So glad it helped 😊
I’m so happy I found your channel. You are helping me get out of debt and be able to pay out of pocket for school. Thank you!
Wish i knew to do this when i was first out on my own. I had no idea how to really budget. My parents were terrible with money and so all i knew was to pay when it was due or overdue. My husband and i follow this system of splitting up bills and it is awesome! We tend to be ahead on our bills and it is so nice to have that peace of mind.
Sandy Maldonado
How do you get started with getting ahead of your bills? Thats my current goal but don’t know how to go about it. Thanks in advance.😊
I love your videos so much!!! So helpful! 😭💕
Im a new Subbie, i can’t remember who it was but someone I watched shouted you out and linked your video, that’s how I found your channel
Oh so awesome!! Well thank you to whoever that was! 😊
Thank you so much this explains so much! I’m 21 in a medical program and i don’t live at home! I’m for sure going to be using this method i was going to order some of your envelopes but they were sold out! Thanks so much for all tha advice you give!
Love that you have the newbies a shout out!! 😘
I’m a server so based on my tips I divide them all up each night and put them in cash envelopes. It’s a slightly different system than these, but it gets the bills paid!!
Honestly, I don’t know I got here I just know this was recommended to me. I also know that I found you the same month I got a job. I love these videos and I’m glad I learned about budgeting because this is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen or done.
Yeah! Another video! Love these!
This video was super helpful! Love your hand lettering
I found you as a recommended video. So happy I've found you! I need to budget. Trying to move and furnish an apartment and buy a car. So thank you so much for the content
Instead of taking that second paycheck and going ham with it, set aside half of next months bills and you'll be amazed how good it feels to only have to pull out half. From someone who's paycheck are normally like $400, it killed me paying my car insurance out of that. Now I set aside half and then half the next check and pay it.
Heather Bogle That’s exactly what she suggested doing in the video? Going ham with the second paycheck would only defeat the purpose of trying to budget/beginning to split your bills.
Yay! I started and I’m so happy I did.
Yay new video! xx
This video was definitely super helpful! I appreciate you. Just subscribed! ♥
Thank you for making this video!!! So helpful :)
Could you do a video on this if you are behind on bills?
New subscriber here! I found your channel on how you do your cash envelopes and it’s so cool! I’m only 17, but I have a job and I think I’m gonna start putting some money away so I have extra cash especially for university. Thank you for these videos💗💗
I get paid twice a month. I take the bills that I pay online and pay them half the payment each paycheck. That way I don't spend it. On the other bills that are auto pay (which I hate) I put half the money in savings for each bill. Then right before it is due put it back in my checking.
I'm a new subscriber and I love your simplicity to explain everything❤ I've starting to budget! I'm eager to learn how you track your savings and sinking funds😉
Yes I’ve been doing this for years because I get paid every Friday! It has been a lifesaver!
Your video randomly came up, thank goodness!!!! I'm going to start budgeting because of you! Thank you
This is exactly what I do! Super simple and it works great!
Thank you!! This pretty much answered all my questions!
I’ve always tried to do this but it’s always something though but i feel like once i move on my own i will have no choice. I love this idea it definitely works!
Starting my cash envelopes/zero based bank account today with this check! So excited to not be "living paycheck to paycheck". This check is as little right but should be smooth sailing starting next check. You have inspired me! Thank you!!
Subcribed about a week ago! Love all of the tips! Thank you!
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!! I forgot i was already subscribed I actually wanted to subscribe AGAIN cuz of this vid lol
Omg I just ran across this channel, I love it definitely trying this out !!!!!!
I just started a few days ago and I needed this, but ended up figuring it out yesterday. I just multiplied it by 4, each bill that is. I get paid weekly! But I wont be able to save much because my checks almost equal about all my bills.
This helped out sooooo muuuccchh!!!! Thanks girl !!!! I’m a newbie 💞💞
This was so helpful, thank you!
I started doing this on Monday because of watching your videos! Thank you:)
Yasssss this answers my question from IG!!!
Before I continue on to the rest of the video lol Thank you for the welcome! & you were recommended to me probably because I watch a lot of organizing videos since I am awful at it lol 😂
Omg!!! This was perfect!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you!!! Now I need a set of your envelopes!!
The best place to be notified of when I have more coming out is through instagram! But for right now I have to focus on school, work, and my channel so the envelopes are on hold. Thank you for your interest!

Bless your wee heart! I have been stressin so much tryin for to create an automated way for doin this in Excel or Power Automate. There’s got to be a much easier way for to do this!
Where do you get your stickers that u use for organizing? I've been looking on Etsy and online but not sure what to type for searching. Thanks much!
Also love your videos! It has helped me soo much
I just started watching your videos yesterday and I’m OBSESSED! I made my very own envelopes and I love them! ❣️
I really want to start this budgeting method but I believe I’m overthinking it!
I just want to send you my monthly bills and have you tell me how to do it! 😂🙈

You got me and my boyfriend into wanting to try this out and we even subscribed
So do you put the cash in cash envelopes until it’s time to pay?
When are you thinking about selling more envelops on Etsy?
On her newest video she sad not soon. She has been linking other shops that sell them on her Instagram
@@Neverlandishome what's her IG

Do you have more you on this subject I work 2 jobs both Florida min wage.
Great video!
How do you personally handle cash and stuff envelopes when bills are automatically withdrawn
Great video! Was wondering what pen you are using. Lol
Been a subscriber for a few months now and i just started my envelopes, i would love to buy some of yours from etsy. How much do you usually charge per set?
Hey, I subscribed recently and I love your videos, very helpful. I have a question, what would you suggest for me, I get paid 15 and 30th of the month, me car payment is due on the 1st and my insurance is due on the 15th, I like this method, but part of me thinks I should do it for everything except those two bills, they are about the same amount, and they are due on pay day basically, so should split my checks for everything except these two, or should I split everything including these two? Sorry it’s so long.
You can try allocatinh half of the amount of car payment on the 15th and the other half when you get paid on the 30th. This way when the 1st comes around the money is ready. Or you can use your paycheck on the 30th to pay the car payment on the first.
You can pay your insurance using the check on the 15th. Check the cutoff times if applicable.
What type of pen do you use
ive been splitting my bills for 12 years. its the best method for me.
Love ur videos! I just subscribed
Yay finally
Yay thanks so much it helps me so much but I have a question. I don't get paid the same time of the month every month. I get paid approximately 2 or 3 times a month but at different times. How can I split up my paychecks equally in this situation? I really hope you see this and at least try giving me some tips. Thanks so much in advance and I can't wait to start doing this
BUDGET GANG 🤑 ❗️
Heck yes! 🙌🏻
I’m so happy to be doing this 💗 waiting for my cash envelopes to come in the mail. Ordered my safe box !!! So happy !! Road to financial freedom

Good luck on your journey
I have a very odd butgetting setup. You could use as video, will help lots of others. The mix paycheck anf the rolling biweekly budget. Mix has rolling WITH a fixed paycheck budget breakdown/splitting up payments.
PLEASE HELP🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
How do you calculate your “spending fund” every 2 weeks?
wow!! very smart thanks
My boyfriend and I are trying to do a no spend month so we can pay 2 months worth of rent and 2 months worth of utilities to our landlord at once so we are always a month ahead. It will take us 1 month to save up the money if we do the no spend month and only use our money on necessities. So our rent utilities internet bill and car payment will be due on the 1st and it will be a month ahead every month instead of us paying our utilties on the 14th of the month and our rent on the 30th and the internet bill on the 9th and car payment on the 21st. Do you think that will work? Then everything would be paid by the 1st of every month.
Thank you for sharing this, I was definitely over thinking it! You are amazing!
How do you stay on track? I have lots of bills especially credit cards, none are max out. How do you split the bills with only making at least $840 every 2 weeks
you help me a lot ,
Great great video! One question though, how would you incorporate bills that are due bimonthly or quarterly? My trash bill is due quarterly and my water bill is due bimonthly.
amartinez0913 that would be a sinking fund then! 😊 I have a video all about sinking funds, but basically if your trash bill is $80 every 4 months you would set aside $20 per month for it!
If you get paid every other week, you have two months a year with three pays. Those months are a good time to start this system to get ahead.
New subbie right here 🙋♀️
So my pay situation is kind of unique, i have two jobs. One pays me every week while the other pays me every two weeks. My paychecks every week are on the lower side vs my paychecks every two weeks. Any suggestions on how to divide my bills up ?
What do you do for work ?
What does a $120 phone bill give you? I paid £40 a month for unlimited call, texts, and 6gb internet data...
How should I split my bills if I get paid once a month?
I am horrible at saving looking forward to trying this.
I'm definitely gonna try this because I STAY BROKE and STRUGGLING. My question to you is when you are saving half, what do you do with it? Do you save half and keep it in the account for the total amount due or do you just pay the half every two weeks? Hope that makes sense.
I don't know if you got your answer, but she will save both halves and pay it at the same time
I wish I could do this, we get paid every two weeks, but the days we get paid vary depending on the days in each month. I am too scared that I would mess up - and come up short on a bill or something 😬 ~ thank you for being a great inspiration to me!
China Rain same 😭
An alternative option I use is to always have 1 month worth of expenses in my account where I pay my bills from.
This video is super helpful, but I also want to know what pen you're using. 😂 it looks like it writes so easily!
When are you going to have more envelopes on Etsy
Have enough to do automatic payments. It's a good representation of how much each week or whatever you owe. I once did how much each hour of my life costs me. I broke it down that far. LOL It is kind of interesting.
what if you get paid weekly
can you a video for that
What if you don't get paid on the same days every month? This would work perfectly if that were the case but my first paycheck can be anywhere from the 1st to the 14th, then my second anywhere from the 15th to the 28th depending on the month. Then 2 or 3 times a year have a 3rd paycheck within a month.
Imani O'Dell that’s exactly how it is for me, I just get paid every other Friday. It’s different days each month. I still follow the same method as this video 😊
Thank you for your timely response! Okay, I'm probably just thinking too structured! Pretty much whichever bill falls close to the day you get paid pay that in full, then start saving half of that bill each check moving forward?
I didn’t see any envelopes for sale on Etsy. Do you have anymore?
Madeline Chmielewski she usually does but has taken a break due to school and work. 😊
Forever wishing I had this handwriting lol
