55% of the student body is on a visas. That’s an insane number
55 % of the student body of Columbia is here on a visa, and many others? Why are we giving tax money to these private colleges? Columbia 1.2 billion last year, look it up and hundreds of thousands for the other Ivy league schools.

I watched the speech and announcements stating an investigation into these colleges and their funding by Speaker Johnson and I applaud the members taking a stand. Finally moral leadership and I hope I’ve been wrong about Jordan let’s see how these investigative committee do and what they discover. It’s time to get rid of the moral rot. Speaker Johnson’s leadership is what should be coming from the WH. If he ran for president he’d have my vote in a heartbeat. So why is that idiot MTG trying to replace him?!?! I mean your level of ignorance here is off the charts. The high number of student visas are given because these students are cash cows for universities. Public and private! International students pay exorbitant tuition fees to attend university in the US, tenfold more than what you or your children have to pay. So no one is handing them free tickets. The UD and its universities are advertising a product and these students are paying for it. So don't blame international students who inject billions of dollars into your economy every year, with money coming from outside the US, blame your schools for making tuition unaffordable for the poor and working class.
