      I believe the horseshoe is a design built for our hunter days, we didn't have access to scissors and razors in caveman days, so you either have clumps of hair covering your vision or you evolve to get rid of it.

Im going to potentially go classic again and just do a buzz guard 1 all over.

    A well studied and researched topical DHT blocker combined with a follicle stimulation ingredient is all one will ever require. Consistency and perseverance however is key. Hydrolysed Lupine protein is one of the very best for blocking DHT on the scalp. Topical application is far superior to Finasteride and you will get the same results, the DHT will be blocked on your scalp but your internal DHT levels will not be effected. Next, once your scalp DHT levels are under control the follicle stimulation ingredients can work, I would recommend a formulation called Redensyl, this is shown to be more effective than Minoxidil with none of the side effects. Redensyl however can be fairly expensive so a cheaper alternative would be something along the lines of Niacinamide or Arginine both of which stimulate blood flow to the follicles. Hope this helps somebody. Prevention is key and I promise it will work with consistent use.

  • @lostwisdom100

    It's the same but in reverse with your beard, the more androgen receptors you have in your face the stronger your beard grows, that's why many guys who go bald super young have strong beards, it's because they carry a lot of androgen receptors on their head.

    I'm starting to notice hair-loss in my crown and hairline. you can see on my head how thin my hair is by the crown. I dunno if it's a good idea to just go bald right now, or wait until it gets worse before going bald. I'm currently 24 years old.

    The real cause is low oxigen that hair scalp received. Another causes are skull growth (extend the scalp) and the tight aponeurosis.
    The hairs are not sensible to Dht; is not possible that a few mm from bald area grow a healty hair.
    A most important reseach found that the scalp skin is afflicted by sclerodermia (excess collagen), low angiogenesis and thin derma.

  • @jorgeldejesussanchez7015

    The Horseshoe balding pattern is a hormone problem, nothing will help except a hormone blocker or castration , so far the best solution I saw is micropigmentation treatment
    did you recommend Micripigmentation solution?

    Did you also taper the sides around your ears a bit? Believe it or not, I think you still look good! A guy I work with....30’s....keeps his horseshoe buzzed like with the 1 guard, but not shaved...he made a remark once about leaving work early to go to the barbershop and I thought he was joking, but come to find out he actually goes like biweekly to get his horseshoe buzzed short and the top of his head cleaned up which to me I think means the peach fuzz is shaved off. Truly is personal preference

    It seems like we have moved (or are moving) to the point where the only acceptable maturing mens styles are either a nice full head of hair or shaved bald.... the MPB horseshoe (toilet seat) ring of hair on the sides and back with none on the top seems to be universally hated.... comments ??

      ShaverGuy to be honest I think in the future, maybe my mid 30’s I will experiment. I haven’t seen any male models with the horse shoe. Maybe I will try to become the first. Certainly one way to get more people talking about mpb. I see a lot of older guys rocking the horse shoe no worries though and let’s be honest no one really batters an eyelid. I think it’s largely all down to personal preference.

    I wonder what the cause is for Diffuse Thinning then. If DHT is the reason for MPB then then diffuse thinking must be something else right? Since the loss of hair is everywhere in no real pattern. Great vid my man!

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  Před 5 lety

      Id say its just the front and the crown both thinning at equal rates and then margining onto one big bald patch. For some guys it happens at the front first and works slowly back. For me it seems to be even throughout. 👍 Thanks for watching 😆

    The question that remains though is why on earth the DHT receptor sites only abundant in that horseshoe areas? Can you possibly find something related to that?

    • @PowerRedBullTypology
      @PowerRedBullTypology Před 5 lety

      Yeah, you're right. He did not really answe anything really, but rather used the same "theory" about the DHT and explained what is literally happening in detail, rather than explain WHY DHT is doing and why it's all happening as it is.
      It's like saying 'Yeah you get weaker and weaker" as some sort of explanation of some ilness. The question then is WHY you get weaker. What's the mechanism really?

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  Před 5 lety +4

      The hair follicles at the top part of the head have receptor sites in them. When DHT comes into contact with these receptors they signal the hair follicle to shut down. Then, over time, as the hair goes through its normal life cycle it is replaced by a thinner and weaker hair until eventually no hair grows from the follicle at all. I literally said that in the video. The hairs at the back and sides don't have those receptor sites so they are not signalled to shut down by the DHT. That is the mechanism.....
