I know you’ve talked about your girls being interested in makeup (understandably so) but is your son interested at all? My son loves to color and paint so when he sees my vanity or watches me do my makeup he wants to look at everything… keeps saying “I need makeup”
@@adelineastwood8440Many years ago (decades, actually) I had a H.S. boyfriend that told me he loved to hang out with his mom when she did her makeup. He found the process and time together comforting. That has always stuck with me; so sweet.
@@adelineastwood8440 I'm not Emily but I think you should let him explore! As a kid I really loved makeup and that interest only grew with time. Of course, it's not conventional but makeup can be fun for anyone!

What’s always impressed me about your channel is the time of day you film. I live in Maine and the sun is coming up here about 4:30 as of recently. Emily is an up and at them kind of girl and that’s highly admirable! Great use of products on redial!

Did MY quick face routine watching this! I pop my 5 min teeth whitening thing on, use WnW skin tint, Physicians Formula All Stars full face palette, a little bronzer in the crease, Maybelline eyebrow pencil, and Milani tubing mascara. Done! Off to the carpool line! Of course purse lippy!

I just picked up the Sephora Best Skin Ever Foundation and I can't wait to try it tomorrow!
Another good use for the Laura Geller kajal pencils! Grab a single matte neutral for the crease, or your bronzer if it's matte and the right tone, and take any mid tone kajal pencil for the lid. They set fast so blend blend blend! Soft slate kohl is a taupe lover's dream. Also the "make it a double" shadows work nicely too. They're double sided, with a smaller shadow stick on one end and a coordinating shimmer on the other side.
Also adore that wet n wild tinted hydrator along with the dewy photofocus 😍!!

Mine is: elf whoa glow, Neutragena stick concealer (or not), infallible powder bronzer, Milani romantic rose (or not), bronzer on the whole eye, then elf stick shadow on the lid, curl the lashes, elf setting spray or not, lip gloss or stain.

I’m glad you did an eye look with it. I hate when ppl sacrifice an eye look in a quick makeup routine or just do the bronzer and highlighter trick. Just how you prefer a full color bold lip than something with little to no color. 👍🏽

I love the WnW skin tint but I have to mix two colors 2:1 to get my color.

Love this. I like the W& W tint, too. I have just tried the new ELF camo Hydrating CC cream. It has an SPF of 30 and good coverage and wear time. Also, love the Panorama but am enjoying the ELF Extender tubing mascara. You always have great videos with lots of helpful info.

The wet and wild tinted hydrator in my opinion is a dupe for the urban decay tinted hydrator… I love it so so so much. I cannot believe it’s drugstore

Love your videos watch for years greatly appreciate all your tips and I've learned a lot over the years from you I don't comment much but I did have a request and I am 46 and I've always had normal skin but I'm noticing now that especially in my under eye area after I do my makeup in a couple of hours it looks very dry there's a couple other places around my nose and stuff that seems to be very dry and I don't know what to use for touch up to correct that and I was wondering if you had any recommendations for this problem😢
I think Emily regularly uses "Vanicream" in the tub like, plastic jar that they sell at Walmart for her under eye area and any other especially dry spots on the face. She puts some in a smaller jar, for convenience. I use it too. It is relatively inexpensive and is very soothing and smoothing to the under eye area, especially under makeup. I used a different cream today and am very annoyed that it is irritating my eyes. I'll go back to Vanicream tomorrow. Good luck.

I so wish I had your eyebrows, Emily. I have barely there eyebrows and I don't pluck or anything. I've tried brow products like pomades, eyeliners, and eyeshadows and nothing pleases me. So if there was ANYTHING I'd love to have off your face, it would be your brows.
