    Cause it also has the mechanism at the back and not in the middle..... maybe can be more sensitive to little jumps.....

      I have been riding it every day for over a year now. I have never had any issues with the motor or anything else. Of course, you have to take care of it and replace brakes or cables if necessary, but there has been no electrical damage so far. It's a pretty sturdy bike.

      @TheArtmann  Před 18 dny +2

      As long as you keep it covered or in a garage, it should not be a problem. We had a pretty bad winter here in North Germany, but I was using this bike every day and it was all good. The spare parts are pretty standard, so you can order general stuff like wheels, tires, etc. If you need cables or connectors, then you can always contact support.

      I dont see why not. The bike has a max load capacity of 150kg, so it's pretty sturdy, and here in Germany we have also pretty much stone ways/streets and I had no issue with it

    • @TheArtmann
      @TheArtmann  Před 14 dny +1

      I can just talk from experience. I am on the heavy side and I ride it every day. Besides working on the brakes after a while and give it a good cleaning, I never had any issues with it. Nothing broken or something like that. I went on normal roads, dirt roads, stone roads and if it didn't break with me, I don't think it will brake with you also:)

    Is the battery that comes with the c29 reliable and safe and does the power of the battery not decrease much? because the other bicycles that Duotts sells are supplied with an LG or Samsung battery.

    • @TheArtmann
      @TheArtmann  Před 2 dny +2

      @@TriggerHappy-hr2if none that I personally felt. The battery still holds pretty good. I have the bike now since over 1 year and I ride it every day. Because I use it every day, I will not say that there's no difference as in the beginning because there is, but not something significant. Is still the best battery I have:)

    Hi. Thinking to buy this, but too unsure how good fit this would be for 165cm drive. Mostly worried about standover height (measured from front of chainrings to top of upper frame). Hoping it would be some where 72-74cm or it would be pushing literally. Anyways like I like your content and subscribed.

    • @TheArtmann
      @TheArtmann  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Hi. I hope I understood correctly. So you want to know if it's a good fit for someone of 165cm hight? And if the height from the chain up to the end of the frame is less than 72-74cm? I would need to measure that tomorrow and give you a reply. As for the rider's hight, well I'm 176cm and I keep the saddle pretty high, so I guess there's no problem for someone of 165.

      @@TheArtmann Thanks for answering. Didn't really expect anyone would answer and willing to help. If I lived somewhere nearby I would offer your favorite . All that said, back to matter. Measured same spot from my current bike. It was 77cm, there is no room if I were ever to fall off from pedals. You can probably guess rest. Most likely to ever happen when driving more or less regular roads.If ever to fall down that is side ways. For clarification. From ground to top tube when bike is standing straight. Had too look what is that part called. Yes, I think that would be roughly spot where everyone would be standing when getting off from saddle when bike is still between your legs.

    I have to disappoint you: This bike is not road legal in Germany, even if you remove the “gas pedal” and reduce speed to 25km/h. This bike has no CE, ISO or DIN certification nor does it fulfill the EPAC norm which limits pedelecs to 250W (this here has 750W as clearly stated on the motor). You are only allowed to use it on private roads, but definitely not on roads in the woods etc. In any case no insurance will pay money after an accident with another person.

      Thanks for the tip. I still find everything gray and confusing. When I did research for this video I went on a bunch of forums and reddit, and as you might expect, everyone had an option.. some said what you said.. others said the contrary. That's why I never said in the video that by doing all this stuff you are now "legalized", because even now I am not sure of any side. Nevertheless, the bike is great in bike parks:) and there I know thare are no issues.

    If you drive it safely and folkow traffic rules, what are the odds cops will inspect the bike? Probably quite low right?

    • @TheArtmann
      @TheArtmann  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Nobody can really provide a definitive answer regarding the "odds" of encountering different types of cops. To this day, I have not personally experienced any issues... and I ride it daily.
      However, it is possible that on the first day of purchasing this bike, you may come across a cop who doesn't like your face or the way you sneeze, or any other reason at all, leading them to pull you over. See where I'm getting at?
      Your question is not a great question to ask because there's not really an answer to give.
