750w motor is pretty spot on for most riders .
Apologies for the error in the video, I was informed the discount was 100 euros at the time of making the video but it is actually 50 euros off. Discount code in the video description 😊
I bought the same bike 3 months ago and it is a BEAST for its price ..I already have 400km with it and ZERO ISSUES at all…👍
I only added an adjustable stem in the front to raise the handle bar more …also a SeatPost with a suspension and also a small rechargeable LED backlight …planning to change the tyres too and put some good quality ones.
430km: Also no issues
@@ytuberizationGood stuff 💯
What speed are you getting out of it and how many miles? Cheers👍🏻
About 45km/h based on GPS. The 50km/h advertised is not correct or measured downhill.
Range is difficult. Depends on support, terrain, speed, driver weight, temperature etc.
Example: Support with Level 1 (from 5), which is about 12km/h, with a range of ca. 80km in a more difficult off-road terrain with quite steep hills (up to 600m altitude). Weight 75kg.
In other words: Range is good and comparable to expensive bikes with 700Wh.
@@chriswar9027 the lighter you are the more speed you will get… I’m a heavyweight 98kgs guy and still manage to get 45-50 kmh sometimes without even pedaling…the motor is a BEAST … in public roads though i avoid going very fast and I make sure to be on the legal side and i do not exceed the 30km speed limit.

The right hand/rear wheel brake setup is most likely an intentional choice made for safety reasons. The theory being that in a a panic stop when you'll grip both brakes hard at the same time, you want the most stopping power to be on your rear wheel, and for most people, their right hand is going to squeeze harder (sorry if you happen to be a lefty).
european brake setup. easy enough to change though. for the price though a thumbs up.
Purchased via your link, many thanks
@Dude stuff, I have two 48V 24AH batteries I want to mount like that on the triangle tube where the bottle holder usually is, problem is, the two bolts are very close to each other and the tube is slightly rounded, leaving the base to sit awkardly, the baterry has flex to a point where I do not trust it and mount my battery on my rack.
What do you reckon about devising something to make that battery mount sit well to the frame, any tips?
Have this bike for over 1 year. Best bike for this price range.I see new 2024 version have upgraded lcd..
@dudestuff Got my C29 yesterday. Took it out for a quick spin last night...game changer. I'm coming from an 8 year old old knackered 250w bike so the difference is crazy! Only thing that concerns me is that the bike can be started by simply turning the battery on and then you're away. With my older bike i needed to have the keys in for the battery to start. Is this keyless function very common across most ebikes? Was hoping i could tweak something where i needed to enter a pin in order for the C29 to start?
Do you also have vibrations when accelerating?
Does anyone know what motor model that is im trying to find it online
Hello, nice bike i just want to asking where is located on this modell the electric motor controller unit? because i see on "maybe" older version of this bike has a black box under the battery
I'm fairly sure the battery holder has a built in controller.
That is not a bad price for a commuter bike
Seems like Duotts C29 has received an update: Color display and rear light are new. The ugly controller of Gen 1 below the frame is no longer existing…personally I would pay another 100€ if they would add a torque sensor
where do i find this upgraded version?
@@gravydavy9930 Just order it via the Duotts link provided
on the website stands 25 km/h, but is it 50 km/h when you buy it?
Hello,i would like to ask something.I bought this bike and i have an issue with the power.Even at the 1st level,i have max power with just one pedaling. It is dangerous when driving in traffic. Also, from the display all the settings you make, they don't work.I set speed limit to 25km but it srmtill goes with 50 km.Has anyone else these kind of issues?
You say the brake levers are on the wrong side. However, I always think it as right-side for R and R being for Rear brake and left is for front brake.
They're on the wrong side for UK standard. Front brake here has always been on the right.
I personally just purchased a 21 speed electric bike for medical reasons from bwikes 😮 I never thought I would do it
Oh we have our first e-bike lawsuit against Philadelphia they never told me that I was on the fall risk protocol list so I’m dealing with my surgery recovery the way I see fit 🤬
that looks tidy for the price
I see where the battery is mounted, but where is the controller mounted ?
I've been looking at similar bikes, and some are built into the base of the battery mount.
The break thing is setup for americans they seem to run the brakes opposite to us
If you search DUOTTS 750watt motor it has it on there website for 299 euros. Only problem being I wouldn’t know how to put it on the wheel if anyone knows much appreciated
I have this Gen2 bike and driven ~100km by now. 2 major flaws with this bike. No.1 is that the breaks are super bad, like literally rubbish. Changed the break pads for a better one but still quite bad. I think that im gonna replace the whole breaking system including the disk breaks.
No.2 is that the left crank arm is loose. Every time I go for a ride the left crank arm gets loose. I tighten it with my 8mm hex wrench and it stays for a little time and then it gets loose again. I think that I need to replace the crank arm or the whole bottom bracket assembly.
It's a cheap bike
How long would you go with it if you are 90kg and without pedalling?
15-20 miles at the most. Keep the speed down to around 20mph and it will almost double because above that speed you're just fighting a lot of air resistance.
In every day reality a 29er e bike makes so much more sense than fat tyre ebikes that suck power
wheres the controller?
el agarre no de la mano derecha no parece muy comodo
This or the M1 pro better???
This
900 quid ……….are you having laugh ,DIY BIKES ARE WAY CHEAPER BRO AND FASTER AND JUST AS RELIABLE
760 with my discount code
I don’t know that sounds like a sweet spot to me. I built a 350w Yose Power conversion on a Scott Sportster ‘29er’. The base bike was virtually for nothing and the result is great but it took a bit of dialling in and still owes me over £500 with upgrades. DIY isn’t for everyone and this bike looks like something of a deal particularly with the discount. Halfords specials tend to be at least a grand and the sky’s the limit if you want to spend stupid money on an e-bike
always one in the comments , a good battery is minimal £350 that wont set on fire , a motor is minimal £250 for a 29 inch rim and a steady bike frame with disc brakes minimal £200 + u get the pannier rack mudguards lights etc all adding another hundred maybe and wont look like a DIY wiring mess, so 900/760 for a prebuilt bike of these specs is VERY good
@@girlsdrinkfeck I know a fast kit would cost as much as this bike or more plus a bike on top not cheaper I don't think
im curious what cells the battery pack uses though ,do they let u take them apart to see after u made such videos of bikes sent to you ?
madness people still pay halfords over £1000 for a crappy 250w bike where its hub bearings will start to loosen and wobble after a hundred miles
You're quite right but don't forget Halfords have stores that require heating & lighting and salaries of their staff for every shop. Duotts from what I understand just has one factory in Poland. For me I want a 2000w 72V 20AH build that I'll build myself when my car grinds to a Holt.
@@justchecking586 thats understandable but their bikes are rubbish quality , even their high end carreras the hubs on the wheels loosen up and arent repairable , the whole wheel has to be replaced since its chinese OEM junk
