- This Electric Bike will go FAR! PVY Z20 MAX First Ride
Here is the PVY Z20 MAX - an ultra long range folding ebike from PVY. With it's 2.3 inch wide tyres this is an alternative to the Fat tyre ebikes with lesser range. The PVY Z20 Max has 2 batteries which give it such a big range. But also it has a torque sensor which means you'll be helping out though you won't be breaking a sweat.
This is an unboxing and first look at the new Electric bike from PVY. A full review will come later.

You got me interested in the pvy z20 plus 1000 . I brought it and never looked back ... proper beast 💪.. great review
Interesting setup, thanks for the vid!
No problemo
Great preview looking forward to your full review I am thinking of pulling the trigger on this to add to my ebike collection I have a Eliglide T1 & Engwe E26 love them both, but want to add a folding bike with plenty power and range at 80 NM that is more than than the E26's 70 NM if true
It will be interesting to see if the Max can beat the e26 up the Hill
Hello Evrc, great video as always.
Can you please recomend me some bike with great range that i can use for deliveries. Thankyou
Thanks! How fast do you need to go? I have a video coming out today. That bike is great. Pvy z20 plus 1000 also. Lankeleisi x3000 max is a fast option with rear rack. How much you looking to pay?
thanks for the vid since you already gave it a first spin, Iam just wondering if the throttle will work from zero without using the peddles?
Yeah it does
*All about that MAX Life!*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️🤙🏽
I love this style of frame/bike with Biiig range. 👌🏽
Suspension looks 🤩
Love the water bottle-lookin battery 😂:more inconspicuous 🤙🏽
Awesome ridim path, that drone footage is nice, follow mode works so well, you should do a "follow" up video on it 😂 avoids the trees so well! Like a much more expensive drone.
Hehe it's like the Engwe bike you liked. Suspension sounds the same too 😂 yeah the drone is awesome. I did do a skateboard video entirely filmed by the drone but I should do a full review really. I might if they bring out a side follow feature.
Can we get the full review now please?
Can you roll it around when folded?
What's the name of the drone you use? Great review btw!
Thanks. It's the Hover X1 in this video. There's a link in the description.
When will there be a new video with the PVYZ20 Max?
Awesome footage/camera tech 😮🤠🇬🇧🤟🙏
Cheers 🍻
What’s the drone your using thanks Martyn 😊
Hover X1 I've put a link in the description
@@e-VRC thank you
How to unlock the top speed? Is it P08? Will it get unlocked for the throttle mode? I tried setting 50 for P08, but still getting 25km/h for the throttle. Am I doing something wrong? I tried many times. Does not work.
Hi thank you for the video. Is it worth buying over Z20 Pro for only riding 10 km per day ?
The z20 pro is a decent bike. If you're only going that far then it might be worth saving your money and getting the Pro. The max is a nicer experience on the whole and if you ever do need to go further then it will. So it just depends on how much you want to spend.
@@e-VRC Thank you !
What is it like to peddle without assist?
I think the bike is very nice, even with the water bottle 😅 when will you take a video with a full bike test? thanks
Should be in June 🤞
Hey ! Love your videos dude you really got me into e-bikes
Can local viewers buy these bikes off you ?
Thanks for watching! Yeah I don't have room to keep them all so many go on FB marketplace afterwards.
I wpuld like to buy this@e-VRC
@@e-VRC Hey thanks for replying ! Can I buy the Duotts C29 off ya if possible ? I live close to around Walsall and can come pick it up
@@Lil_electrician sorry it's already gone
@@e-VRC hahahaha fair play
Hi, nice review and thanks for all the informations. I would like to ask you if you recommend the bike for a person that is 1,85 and 110kg ( Knowing that can carry up to 150 kg) . Another question is: leaving in apartment and not having garage where to keep the bike it would be necessary to carry the bike time to time up to the first floor and knowing that the bike is around 27kg would be annoying and unpleasant? The use of the bike is only for vacation on the seaside. Thanks a lot, I would be very appreciative for the answer.
You're only a bit heavier than me so should be fine. I had the saddle pretty low too. Not sure I'd choose this for a vacation bike though especially if you're constantly taking it up stairs. You could remove the bottle battery to help with weight maybe. The much cheaper z20 pro may be more suitable?
Thanks for the answer, about carrying the bike fortunately it will not be too often but maybe 2/3 times in a month. About the z20pro I don't like that doesn't have torque sensor...and seems to me more cheap quality then the Z20 max .
@@nesliving89 yeah it's definitely cheaper quality TBF. If it's just a few times a month then the z20 Max will be a decent buy.
Great 👍🏼😃 probably I'll go for it!
Any coupons with some discounts? Thanks again for the advices .
I want only to ask you if the bike has the App control like the pvy libon or not ?
Could you please check, if the Z20MAX internal battery fits inside the Z20PRO?
I don't have the pro any more but I doubt it as the pro battery had buttons that stuck out the side of the frame when in the bike.
Hi, Unfortunately, they are not compatible.
Well....I've bought one.
I wanted range to commute as it's a 40 mile round trip.
It's flat where i live and there's lots of cycle paths.
It folds and can be taken on the train.
I didn't want fat tyres.
I now wait....
I would buy one too. But they are not available till early June. I don't want to pay
for the bike, only to be told, it will be available in late June, then July. When you
put your money down, you are commited to wait for them to deliver. I like to have
seen them in stock. Because in the meantime, I might have found an alternative
Can i just say the drone is V impressive
Agreed it's amazing. If it could follow me from the side it would be almost perfect. Coming soon apparently 🤞
I'm surprised they didn't make the second bettery the saddle post type....
Rear shock in way
e-VRC - I was really waiting for this bike to be reviewed.... Please post more stuffs about this. Does this ebike go in a throttle unlocked mode more than 25kms? does it have a horn? and a usb charger? Also as per the PVY site the torque is 80 n.m. Is that true? that's more than that of engwe engine pro 2.0 then.... Also what is the size of the bike when folded, the measurement in the site is 51mm width while folded, that's too big for a bike of this kind. If you can confirm... Then I can think of buying it.. So, happy that you posted this video. I was trying to lookup for a video of this from last few days... :) Also post the video for the new model of FIIDO M1 Pro, which has launched recently, not the old spoky model, which is getting sold cheap in the sale in the USA. Europe has the newer version, but, not sure if I can fit a rear rack in that... so, am considering this PVY one.
Hey. It does unlock. I believe it has a horn and pretty sure I spotted a usb charger. As for torque I'm not sure but I'll take it up the Sandy Lane hill climb for the review so we can directly compare it to the other bike's times.
@@e-VRCnice! I didn't want to get the pro because of its shortcomings, so I bought a 2nd plus 1000. However, size-wise, this would have been the o e I'd have gotten as my second... Had I waited another month before ordering. Unfortunately at the time nobody told me something like that would be coming, I mean they had just released the libon and the other fat "plus-lookalike" bike, so who would have thought they'd be releasing another one within a month?
Anyway.... Love your vids!
@@giorginho7mobile thanks. Yeah I knew they were releasing a Max but I had no idea what it was until I opened the box. I was expecting an even better plus 1000
I was just about to search it
This bike?
@@e-VRC yes sir and you uploaded. I saw the pvy post about this bike and you uploaded. wish this bike had 48v atleast
Hi, I heard Z20 Max was for small size persons < 180 cm and Z20 pro was for tall person is it true ?
I'm 185cm and thinking the same question.
Im guessing the negative was the rattling from the handlebars possibly?
The rattling was from the suspension and mudguards
Please don't worry, the screws are adjustable and the noise will disappear after adjustment.
From the mudguards
@@e-VRC I assumed the rattlng was your phone-stick on the bars.
Fiido L3 pro or this
Not tried the Fiido
27 Kg is respectable, but what does it weigh without the backup battery ?
Good question. The backup battery was maybe 2-3 kgs
@@e-VRC: Okay, you convinced me !.. In 2 weeks time I will be buying one
of these, (as long as the price stays at £949). Of course I will use your link

You have such a powerful bike and you don't test hill climbing capabilities???
This is just a first ride.
@@e-VRC When will there be a new video with the Max?
can you help to purchase
What do you mean?
@@e-VRC: He wants you to buy him one ! 😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣
i wouldn't trust that thing to go to the end of my driveway🤣
Haha why?
I like it, but I live in the U.S. DARN.
Oh man don't they ship there at all?
@@e-VRC Not according to their shipping policy. Keep in mind while you make these vids, you have loads of viewers from there, so just let them know in the future. Too bad. nice bike too.
Looks ridiculous with that battery on top
Yeah and people are willing to pay extra for a battery which the vast majority of folk will have no need for .Makes zero sense
Yeah would be nice to have the option of just 1 battery.
That Bike looks like a skinny wee wimp to be honest .Look better on a woman than a man Just keep your dosh and buy the Engwe l20 se instead far superior bike in my opinion and it costs less , no brainer really
😂😂
Z20 MAX has a torque sensor and hydraulic brakes,
I think the configuration is higher than Engwe l20 se 🤣
80Nm of torque vs 50... That's 60% MORE !.. Plus all the other Advantages the PVY Z20 Max has over the L20... All for less than £1,000... Bargain !
@@robinarden8877 Much slower than the L20 se .I have the L20 SE myself it goes up to 28mph and climbs hills with a breeze , so as i said keep your money and buy the Engwe instead , you will be glad you did .But then again if you prefer Z20 max then go for it ,at the end of the day it`s your decision
@@celticbhoy14: Torque is more important than top speed. That is why 80 Nm is far superior to 50Nm. (I live in an area where there are plenty of steep hills). 25 mph is fast enough where I ride, (in the city). Hydraulic brakes are superior to cable brakes.
Torque sensor is a better choice than a bike with a Cadence sensor. The range of the Z20 Max is Huge. Weight is lower too. And overall, the Z20 Max is next level.
I understand the L20 SE is great value for the money, but it's no match for the Z20
