Nice editing. I loved the assembly spin after unboxing. That is how Wonder Woman used to change clothes--I'm old. Also, thanks for the attention to the welds. I was definitely disappointed with the welds on my bike and this aniioki is the bike I want now. I also appreciate the suspension upgrade recommendation. Great review. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Ty
As someone whos not legally allowed to have a license. Ebikes are the only transportation available to those of us that don't have the same rights as others. Hopefully they won't change the requirements to operate them or its back to relying on others for transportation
I appreciate how thorough and comprehensive you try to be with your reviews 👍🏼
I appreciate that! The bike is so cool and It need to be shown and shared. Trying my best for you.
This is one of the best choices for a heavy ebike. work/all day riding. 7a charger is essential for touring. Pumps in a solid 50km over 2 hours of range per hour of charge. Battery size enough for powering electric cooking. Pulling a solar or work trailer with huge range. Still, you are overselling its benefits: It is silly to convert it, because it means changing the battery which is the key value of this bike.
I bought a higher end folding 20x4 (Anioki makes a great one) ebike because of your channel/reviews. Gosen Q5+. Don't regret it at all. 65lbs with rack is much easier every day bike. Having a 2nd (3rd) battery on that style bike for special long range needs, is a better overall solution when everyday use is much more modest.
But those other bikes don't come with 7a charging solutions. Emotos might have batteries that are bigger, but not the range per kwh. This is a nice bicycle.
It's 8A charger
Hopefully next year Aniioki will make a 60ah long range mountain ebike for off road.
I ordered the same bike A8 Pro Max 52V 1000W. After seeing this video, I can't wait till my E-Bike comes in.
Amazing bike and amazing features! Seeing this bike makes me want to choose something like this over a super73 style bikes. 100 miles of range is crazy! Great review and thanks!
Couldn't agree more! Thank you, please share with others it may help for those that are looking for long range.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Absolutely!
Have a look at an old honda 70cc trail. Took my license test on one.
Thanks to you. im greatful to watch your video. Im from Philippines . Am I qualify to Join raffle.
Need some upgrade suggestions! And please let me know if anyone find a way to make it go even faster.
Excellent e-bike and nice, thorough video. You covered a lot of areas and got into enough depth to make this e-bike worth considering as a top contender for my needs. One request... please, _please_ stop calling them mopeds? We're going through a time when people are whining to have these registered, license plates, etc., and many of us would prefer to have a little freedom while it lasts. Thanks, brother.
Yeah, absolutely. That was more like a question of how to call it. It's so massive, and if you unlock it, this model will perform over an ebike level.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace, ssshhh... be very quiet. It's rabbit season.
have you never rode a moped in your life? these are the exact same thing except slightly less fun because the two-smoke sounds and smells arent there
@@patrickderp1044 grew up riding mopeds, dirtbikes, etc. My first was a Honda Express (had a green one and a yellow one). In the city of Richmond, VA, I currently own & daily commute on a Lance PCH 125cc scooter (no pedals). I believe you may have missed the point of my question/statement.
These are automatically mopeds in the EU due to the 1000watt power rating, its not that bad, only about 70 euros per year insurance in my country. Also once you get that registration plate the cops won't hassle you for going 25 mph while barely pedaling.
Wow! What a review! Wow! Subscribed!!! I absolutely love this ebike, definitely on my #1 on my list. #2 Ariel Rider X Step True #3 Wired Freedom/Cruiser
Thanks for the sub! More cool stuff coming. Please share with friends.
Curious why wired comes in #3 on your list. Any specific reason other than the different styling..moped vs regular style?
@@surfguy777 hi, it was my “wish list” the way it looks and performance. And I ended up getting a HovSco HovBeta with torque sensor! Love it!
Does anyone know how I can access cruise control on my a8 pro max? Manual says something about holding constant speed for minimum of 5 seconds but that doesn’t work, perhaps I’m missing something?
This is the best review iv seen on this e bike thank you!!
With newer cells of 21700 which is little fatter and slightly longer than 18650 cells, possible to increase capacity and range up to 35%
Any plan for this?
Great video I really appreciate your effort and information!
Thank you.
I purchased this last month and I love it and so many reactions I get everywhere! I ride it to work everyday (10 min ride) whole week and I’m only at a half charge and this is all at PAS 5 and I’m a pretty lazy rider lol. A few turn signals and I was set. Really love my bike!
I am glad you like it. Awesome model.

I just purchased this bike , do you have any accessories would suggest ? Did your buddy do the controller and hub upgrade? I was thinking about doing a controller upgrade to get the max out of the stock hub and battery. Thanks for the videos and your time
Not yet. Not sure he has the funds to do it now.
Can I put a passenger on the back? I have a 9 year old and need a bike for school runs. Big battery would be ideal.
Great video!

You're welcome
I've owned the 48v A8 for 2 months now. zero complaints. They also sell a 1000w inverter for it pair it with the 100w allpowers folding solar panel and your going everywhere.
that is a cool addition. I did not know about that. thanks for the info.
So the inverter is just meant for you to charge on the go?
What is the difference in 48v and 52v, was looking at there prices. Is there a difference in range and speed.
I don't know what app you were using for GPS, but if you want a very accurate way to check your distance, I recommend using Strava. I have both an odometer on my bike and Strava on my phone. The two calculations are almost always nearly the same. Hopefully that helps.
I use Relive which was part of Strava.
I love the cute little spider on the front light looking at you with his black little eyes with a huge patience, waiting so long for you to disappear so he can build he's new little home on the bike, but you scared the shit of him at 10:04 lol
I cannot see it :)
how is it offroad? i'll be driving it on dirt roads the most if I buy it. I really like the stats, but the wheel size dont look good for dirt roads and trails.
I think the front forks are adequate at best but the rear shocks have no rebound dampening and I have had no success searching for a replacement online.
The one on mine works well, just a bit of noise, but you can play with the ring by tightening or loosening.
that front end looks dinky and cheap compared to the rest of the bike. if anything was to break, its gonna be up front.
I like the range on this bike.
I have a Yamaha motorcycle, but I hardly ride at all anymore.
I would consider selling that for one of these due to the range.
I had an E-Bike before, but that thing had a max of about 25-30 miles. So I never went too far from home.
This can be a game changer.
This is a game changer!
@@ElectricVehicleSpace It is.
As I said, I had an E-Bike years ago.
I would get very nervous when I'd ride it for fear of running out of power while far from home. (same reason I won't buy an EV yet).
So I bought a Yamaha motorcycle, very small one, where I could get around 250 miles ( I think it is) on just a gallon of gas).
But I hardly use it now and would love to go back to an E-Bike but with long range and speed. I don't pedal, so the range would have to be raw. LOL
Keep your motorcycle. E-bikes are great, however, Toyota, Ford and I believe Nissan have realized that electric is not the answer. They all have there pluses and minuses, but the gas engine has yet to be tapped. My sister is a science teacher near Tesla. She just bought a gas truck. People are being fooled at the longevity of Electric. Toyota is now pushing more gas vehicles with better efficiency and are cleaner burning (emissions are not the problem). Electric is getting more expensive and the government just got in the game of regulating the/your amount of electricity you can have (nothing is free). Remember the Honda CRX from the 70's early 80's? 45mph. Why did Honda kill it. Because fuel efficiency was the writing on the wall for oil companies and big gov. Electric is the new oil. - Just wait. Keep your motorcycle...It will make a comeback. Not trying to get political - just spitting facts and trying to save you the heartache of not having a great vehicle such as a motorcycle. Take care and be careful on either one when you ride. - Cheers.
@@stevenm.hollis4429 For clarity, I'm not a fan of electric cars/trucks.
Not unless they have a gasoline backup engine that can complete a long trip on gas.
My fear with electric, is running out of power in the middle of winter, out in the wilderness where there's no power to recharge. At least with gas, on a very long trip, I can always carry a couple of 5 gal red plastic gas containers. I have some right now in the garage for emergency. We have 2 generators and if power were to go out in the dead of winter, we'll be ok for at least a week+.
I only mentioned the E-Bike thing because I'm just not using the Yamaha. I rode it twice this year. But still paying insurance on it! LOL
But I would NOT buy another E-Bike like what I had before. It was ok for short jaunts, but not much more. A super long range would be fine as long as it doesn't cross law-lines to where it required license and insurance.
But NO to the fully electric car.
We are considering the newer 2025 Honda Plug-in CRV. But I'd need to confirm some things on it first. Like range on battery and full range with battery/gas combo.
It's too danged back that Hydrogen vehicles aren't popular yet.
That would be a game changer because you can have a hydrogen generator at home to fill it and if there were fill stations everywhere, then it would be easy like gasoline, but without the pollution.
Oh to dream. LOL
While I quite understand what you are saying , Just like Fuel , Electric was around forever too so these things are nothing new ! That's why I don't complain about none , weather it's Electric or Gas , the Government will get your ass whenever they feel like !
Would actually be a really big power bank/solar generator!
You can definitely wire an inverter here and achieve that.
Inter city travel - here we come! Or long tours in lazy country back roads. Or loading up some camping gear and heading into the woods on forest roads. Only barrier for me is still wanting to keep fit, but also still reluctant until we can ensure better battery lifecycle management (don’t most batteries still end up in landfills or poorly managed recycling facilities?).
Not really. Well recycled.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I am not up to speed, so that’s good to hear. Incredible pace of innovation and a real competitive advantage for commute option in lieu of driving around in a 3000 lb vehicle. Also for 2 car families to downsize. I went car free 2 years ago and it’s working out really well. If I didn’t live so central, this could easily quadruple my acceptable range to ‘cycle’ into work. Final added benefit - lol - everyone sneaking their batteries into the office for free juice.
How are you guys transporting these heavy bikes, you have to have a bike rack, or do you just put them in the back of your car/SUV?
back of the car works
Is it true the A8 is for taller riders and the 177 if for shorter riders? And what’s the difference between the 48v and 52v?? Please I’m looking to purchase promptly.
The 52V is better more power and longer range. I am 6.3 and both are comfortable. There is no such a thing as shorter or taller. Both can be adjusted for any rider height. I would go with A8 PRO MAX. Use the affiliate link to support my channel.
how is steering at high speed?
hey great video quick question what was you take on the spokes of the i ride in the same area
I don't understand your question. Could you explain what do you by spokes of the ride and the same area?
I'm sorry, I meant the tire spokes did they get loose or did you have to have make an adjustment it'd a problem that I ran into with my swft zip
I have the Aniioki AQ177 52v and the biggest difference between the 48v is the aceleration speed and torque and boy does it have ton of low end torque it can climb 20% grade hills easily. It's not quite as fast a the A8 Pro Max 52v in top end speed the max I've seen is 32 MPH (GPS). They share the same 1000w 1400 peak motor but the A8 Pro has a 28amp controller while the AQ177 52v has a 25amp controller so I think that's why the A8 Pro has a little more top end.
Thank you for sharing. I like more the A8 frame design and seat but both bikes are rad beasts. Best in this segment.
I went with the AQ177 52V over the A8 due to the Seat. I was able to upgrade the seat to a suspension cloud 9 seat. The A8 seat is to wide and you are stuck with it.
I live in Florida so I don't ever see hills.
@@hugotorres3645 I went with the AQ177 for the same reason plus it has the increased torque as I live in a hilly area. As you said the seat on the A8 is not ideal as you cannot easily swap it out so that was a deal breaker for me.
@@zeppast that’s interesting, considering the guy doing the review spent five minutes trying to use his limited English vocabulary with adjectives on how “super, comfortable, amazing, best, incredible “seat this was lol.
I got a bike that I do deliveries it has two 48v 28 ah battery and it max at 28 mph it respectably last 12 hr with both battery do you think this would be a better replacement I’m thinking of getting the 52 v my bike does at least 100 miles just on throttle u think thinks getting the 52v is better than what I got ?
52V is way better, more power and range.
Great review can you please recap the range for this bike and the Aq177 you got? Thanks.
all info is in the video I posted.
I see many e bike companies claiming that their 20ahm batteries do 70 miles with peddle assist which i am yet to see that. But now multiply that by 3 and you've suddenly have not only 210 miles with a 60 ahm battery but 250. What is going on with these bogus Claims without explaining the physics. That's like saying a 20 ahm battery that does over 83 miles, doesn't exist.
you need to look at reviews from real users and not those paid for by a company like the author of a channel who works off a donated bike
Yepp, as the old saying goes, the math ain't mathing. i get around 30 miles on a 20AH with a Class 2 so no way this bike is getting 200+
@@mobi1etone Agree. Now multiply that by 3 which means that a 60AHM should just be able to do 90miles. And believe that's @17mile/hr.
@@steveg3885 This bike has a 30A controller and maxes out at 30mph, so it'll drain the battery in 2 hours going flat out guzzling 1500w. As a rule of thumb people should just half what the manufacturer claims.
did you mean change the real hub motor to 1500 and keep the same controller or with a new controller? sry confused
You can play with that. Replace a full kit or try more powerfull motor. These controllers are cheap and some work with various set ups.
if i shipped this to my warehouse would i beable to get this into my trunk? (hellcat challenger) or is this thing just way to heavy?
I think it will. I was able to load it up into a regular car.
Can you ride it in the rain?
Wow, this bike is a beast, and my wife and I are loving them. Has anyone dialled in the parameter settings and found a sweet spot? Would love your help if anyone has them for the 52v! Thanks!
I found leaving the tire size at 22 in the settings gives you the correct speed.
What settings do you have because I have the a8 pro max 52v now and I’m 169lbs and it’s stuck at 29 on flat road !?
After I posted the video the other bikes motors were overheating and people pushed them to the max damaging them. Now newer versions are locked to 28mph.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace ah ok, well I’d rather have the bike last then lol
Concerning the height of the seat. Is there significant adjustment to that?
Nice review BTW!!! Keep up the Gr8 work!!
How much weight can the rear rack hold? Can a person sit on the back cushion?
easy. Very sturdy.
@6:34 Lazybones
52 volt battery but only 48 volt hub motor, shouldn't they match? If I order the 52 volt version, shouldn't I be getting it with a 52 volt motor as well?
it is all about the controller. That motor can work at higher voltage.
@@ElectricVehicleSpacewhat is the controller amp rating for the 52v version?
@omozeoyarebu4444 I just got mine and it us set to 28 amps. I changed mine to 30 amps. But I don't see or feel any difference.
I can't believe you hit those speed bumps at 30 MPH! lol wow be careful please
Aniioki A8 or Wallke H6 max which is the better buy I’m 6’3 btw just wanted a little input lol
Get the Aniioki A8 Pro Max. Why better option. I am also 6.3 230 lbs. Use the link in the description to support the channel.
Just Curious, would that E-Bike be great for a 7foot0 Tall Guy?
Will I be able to buy this in Europe (Ireland) ?
It's a good review, thanks! The distance test was particularly important to me in choosing the A8, which I ordered yesterday. I am wondering when they'll give me shipping notice.
On the difference between GPS and the bike's odometer, was the bike set to 20" tires? It seemed the likely culprit. Nice overall look at the bike. Thanks again for that.
I checked mine and it's set to 24. Wonder is I should change it to 20 also
I think that'll take care of the discrepancy.
I’m thinking about ordering one what’s the top speed you get on it
@tylerkravitz9294 I got mine up between 35 and 37mph and I'm 230 5'8"
I noticed on my Grizzly that the tire size in the unit is set to either 24 or 26 inches, and they said to leave it like that even though it has 20" tires. Naturally, that would make it think it went further, but I wasn't sure if it had to do with how the motor applies torque as well. What's your tire size set at?
22
Would you recommend this ebike or the Wallke H6 for range?
The A8 pro hands down better with more range!
@@ElectricVehicleSpace thanks for that feedback
I want to buy this bike how do I find out about all the fancy upgrades you said and then when you have a bike like this where in the United States do you get it serviced in your hometown or where
There are plenty of DIY stores that do mods. For example Powerfull Lithium does cool stuff.
Nice quality review!

I wish I bought this instead of my AR. It’s better without the overt attention grabbing headlights, as well as having the huge range, cruise control and really cool security, which is all absent of the AR, which is a really fun 52v bike otherwise
What's AR?
I am really thinking of going with this ebike, I was looking at the Ristretto 512 with middrive but its best to take them for a spin and see how they feel. My biggest concern is getting up hills.
It will do great uphill but Ristretto is twice the price but a super nice ebike but not comparable with this long range model.

@@ElectricVehicleSpace Awesome!! I'll be on the look out for the video review. Thank you!
Definitely get much shorter crank arms, like 140mm. I Trust recumbent cyclist when they say shorter cranks still enable you to use maximum power, they just put lot less strain on your knees. I saw the angle your leg was at the top dead center and shorter crank would really help there.
With longer crank arm you have more strengh to the back wheel , and you can change them when you buy the bike 😅
Does it look nice?
How are the welds?
i mention all this in the review
how does it compare to Wired Freedom Ebike? which apparently is faster same price range.
I never tried it but it is not just about speed.

Do I leave the battery installed or as people recommend to remove battery to stop battery theft. Sorry lots of questions but I want to keep my bike secure. Thank you! Great review, and I’ve ordered two bikes!
Were you able to find out if there is a way to unlock the speed?

Hope you enjoy it! stay safe and I hope you are ok. You should order the 52V so much better and more powerful with extra range. I hope you used the link to support our channel. Cheers!
You should do a commuter/road test like you do on these ebikes using bottom tier priced E-MTB as from Canyon, Vitus, Giant, Marion, Trek, Orbea...........to see how they work as a dual purpose street bike. Just do the street test. See the range and handling as they are so much lighter and better components. Be curious the range of these in pure street mode.

Depends on your weight, terrain, weather conditions etc
Is there a cruise control feature?
I am not sure but it may be. The software and the settings are overall the same.
Did I miss the regen braking aspect?
Regen is a marketing skeem. It only works and make sense for cars.
Can we use it like a regular bicycle without battery?
Watch the video I explained this situation there.
We were using Batteries from time of Memorial , i have no Complaints about the way things are going with Electric Vehicles , as time go on it will get better ! Like Gas or anything else , things are contantly changing and improving for the better , you use Batteries for your Tv Remote , your Transistor Radio , your Torch light , your CB radio for all those years and it was great ! you want Batteries for your Car but now that things are Improving and can only get better ! it seems like for some People , this is a big problem all of a sudden ! Gas will always be around but you have to look at Choice and that's the key ! Hybrid is also great for if you want the best of both Worlds ! So what's the problem ?My only problem though , i might add ! The prices are getting wild ! Battery prices are not cheap at all .😮
Would you recommend this e bike for off road dirt trails and inclines?

I'm looking for a E-bike for hunting and realy putting one to the test.
One day they can make batteries like that of 10 or even 20 module that hook up to the solar system to recharge and used for other things. Then just take one out for easy outings on the bike. Too bad no one made it yet.
Love the idea of this bike but a few issues after another kept me from keeping it. Arrived with no working headlights first…customer service was great getting me a new controller…the lights worked THEN they wouldn’t turn off even when the bike was off. Waited for them to figure it out for a couple weeks. Got tired of waiting and sold it to someone who didn’t care, THEN they sent me out a new controller to fix THAT problem after like 3 weeks post me selling it. Couldn’t deal with it anymore lol.
I’ll say their customer service is more responsive than most other e-bike makers…I’ll give them that.
